Fun and Powerful Shadebinder Build: The Cryomancer
This mostly applies to PvE, and it actually makes Shadebinder a LOT of fun.
Check out my Warlock if you want to see for yourself.

Iceflare Bolts
Glacial Harvest
Whisper of Rime: Shards heal and give Overshield
Whisper of Conduction: Shards track to your location
Whisper of Bonds: Frozen kills grant super energy
Whisper of Torment: Gain grenade energy when taking damage
Exotics:
Cryosthesia 77K
Mantle of Battle Harmony
Cryosthesia pairs perfectly with Glacial Harvest for freeze on-demand, thus giving you free opportunity to create shards and activate Iceflare Bolts. Breaking frozen targets (which is basically everyone) gives you a boost in Super Energy
BUT THATS NOT ALL
Battle Harmony gives a boost in Super Energy or a damage boost when getting kills with a weapon matching your subclass element.... Cryosthesia is Stasis, so it works with Battle Harmony!
I can get a Super faster than any other Stasis Subclass, I have constant survivability even on the front lines, my abilities are always ready for use whenever I need a quick freeze, and this allows me to use whatever Energy and Heavy weapons I want. Like, say, Breach And Clear with Salvager's Salvo? And a Firefly Corrective Measure?
Now let's evolve on it further. Throw on Swift Charge to get Charged With Light. Add in either Surprise Attack or High Energy Fire to spend that Charge to further boost Cryo's damage. Wanna be a team player, or just want the stat boost? Add on Powerful Friends to give a Charge to teammates.
All of this and you still have plenty of room for improvement. I never thought I'd enjoy this dinky sidearm so frigging much, but now Shadebinder is right up there with Grace as my favorite Warlock subclass.
I’ve made a similar build with the Exotic Mantle of Battle Harmony but I used a Dire Promise with Osmosis instead. It never occurred to me to use Cryosthesia. Sounds like a lot of fun!
