I feel like these are 2 raid exotics that either never really got a chance to shine or have fallen out of favor for better options.
Tarrabah needs the number of hits for ravenous beast reduce by 50%. Since without ravenous beast, this is just an okay smg that's technically worse than the ikelos smg and only slightly better than a frenzy smg.
Legend of Acrius has fallen out of favor, since swords and slug shotguns do better damage with greater ease of use. I think its reserves (with the catalyst) should be 18 instead of 12 and its crit multiplier should be removed, with the base damage being bumped up to the crit damage. While Acrius has the potential of great damage, the fact that you have to land crits at close range makes it challenging, especially since it has such a large blast cone that it can be difficult landing 100% of the pellets on a crit without a divinity bubble.

Acrius - Either Reduce damage by about 15-20%, remove crits and make it a special weapon. Have it deal 180 damage in PvE. Hits hard but pretty easy to use, make its usability the main focus. Or make it’s damage not crit and be a wave like Tractor Cannon. Hit once without a crit. Increase the damage to be closer to the crit damage. 1K - Introduce a catalyst that causes bolts to attach to targets and hits extend the length of the burst up to 1.3x the base with 100% accuracy. Tarrabah - Introduce a catalyst that triples Mag size when you pick up special or heavy ammo or activate its damage bonus mode. Also change the activation mode into a faster action. Anarchy - Idea for a catalyst - triples the duration of mines when not activated. Div - Also doesn’t need anything. Increases the speed at which the cage damage burst activates. Idk, these are just my ideas though

3 通の返信The "Long March" Exotic Trait on Legend of Acrius should really be removed and replaced with something better. What is effectively Radar Booster as an Exotic Trait is incredibly lame and useless on a SHOTGUN which requires you to be at POINT BLANK RANGE to use effectively. What use is a Radar Booster to a SHOTGUN? Unbelievable.

Angelにより編集済み: 6/9/2021 7:16:33 PMYou might want to specify in PvE. The amount of hits required for the perk in PvP are cut in half. Any less and its 100% uptime with a 0.23 TTK exotic. But I agree that it should activate the perk with light work in PvE.

6 通の返信Sturm with no Drangにより編集済み: 6/7/2021 11:40:35 AMAcrius is in a real bad spot as a raid exotic because its whole design was justified back when the weapon loadout was restricted to Primary+Primary+Heavy/Special only. With the change to Primary/Secondary+Primary/Secondary+Heavy after the feedback, Y1 exotics have more or less been long overdue of a good polishing. Hell, DARCI barely has any use nowadays and only manages to stay relevant out of pure coincidences. Can you remember the last time you used Worldline Zero, Tractor Cannon, Merciless or even Sanguine Alchemy outside of just farming kills for weapon catalysts? Outside of nostalgia? For current and relevant gameplay? I don’t even use Whisper anymore and the Bound Hammer ornament I have for it is one I really do like.

1 返信Tarrabah needs a catalyst that addresses the stowing loss or extends how long ravenous stays active. Acrius needs more range for being a heavy shotgun. Vex... needs numbers buffs and the catalyst should also let you stow overcharge charges.
-
2 通の返信Terribah just needs a better reload animation when activating ravenous beast. It takes 15 years right now. Could also have a trade off - while you have ravenous beast ready to go, you get extra stability and range. Once you proc it, you loose it.. if you get me.
-
Tarrabah catalyst will probably help it where it lacks. Bungie can make acrius a 65 rpm shotgun and condense the pellets so they all hit. The vex mythoclast on the other hand… well, it’s fun to use, but it sucks.
-
For Tarrabah, all I think it needs is for its alt mode to include bottomless mag. They seem to be firmly against charges persisting while holstered given it, Ace, and Vex experience it. It would help, but it may be unlikely. The mag change though allows it to really dig into the beast mode. Auto Reload was really the only viable option for its alt mode since reloading canned the buff pretty much immediately.

7 通の返信I mean, Acrius has always been very good with its catalyst. There's a reason it was meta for Ghalran. Also very good for most of LW. I feel that you could use it on Templar with great success. I think the issue is more of a mindset in the player base. Just because it doesn't do double slug/Anarchy w/ Breach levels of DPS, it is somehow bad. This isn't far off from the mindset during D1 Y1, when it was "Gjallarhorn or kick." If you werent using Gjallarhorn, anything else you did was bad apparently. The problem is that if Acrius gets buffed, it will be too good. Just like Thorn in D1. Everybody thought that gun was trashed when it came out, when in reality it was very good. At the time, SUROS Regime was the "best" PvP weapon in the game, but I would always delete them using Thorn. When Bungie announced that they were buffing Thorn, I immediately knew what they were about to unleash. Buffing a weapon that is very good, albeit with a slight drawback? Yikes. And now Thorn is infamous for being a terror and breaking PvP. Because it got buffed. I'm scared that if they buff Acrius, they will eventually nerf it to be worse than it is now because people will realize how good it is and everyone will use it. I would rather they just not touch it honestly.

4 通の返信As someone who uses tarrabah, it does absolutely not need the charge requirement decreased. It will become broken beyond belief, especially if you know how to charge the perk efficiently. It also flinches really hard I believe this shows it’s potential and how it shreds quite well: https://youtu.be/eBb0ja4NxkU
