The actions he took there actually show a protective kindness that Uldren really didnt have. He sees the eliksni as people of the city, he was friends with many of them, and his job as a guardian is to defend the people of the city.
It's the situation he was in that was dark, where the people have to be defended from the other people.
I doubt we see him act as Uldren again. We have seen too much difference in their actions.
Uldren really didnt have.
The awoken have always spoken highly of him which had me ask the question why they would put their own reputation on the line to say that. He's been kind and ruthless in the past. He can be again.

The awoken admired him, but he was always cold and distant. He was respected for his effectiveness and his closeness to queen Mara Sov. Crow is different, he is close with all the people around him. He can be a little cold but he is always a source of warmth to the people around him.

I could see that if the poor man hadn't already essentially gone through a parental abuse type scenario with spider. Things dont get much farther in than that, and if there was a time to get cold that would have been it, but hes only been getting better since then, now raiding spiders convoys to deliver supplies to the needy.

Of course I do, everyone has some darkness in them, that's been the main theme in destiny since forsaken. I dont think thats the direction they're going to take his story though. I would be disappointed if it was never acknowledged, but I dont think we see it going so far as him returning to being Uldren Sov, or even going very far back into his old ways.
I dont think thats the direction they're going to take his story though.
I'm willing to bet it's a redemption meant to give him an epiphany. Which would lead to a good speaker category who can speak about the wisdom of it all.
