Funny how this whole community was up in arms about wanting to get rid of laksmi. But it's Saint 14 who is the real villain.
Time will tell who the true villains are. Maybe it's Osiris? Perhaps it is the people's will.

Exactly how is Saint a villain? The Fallen try to genocide Humanity twice, burned down the entire city of London, and the things they did during the Dark Age......Saint's crusade against the Fallen was completely justified.
-
Oh please, he's no villain. Too many soft Guardians forget the atrocities the Fallen have committed on humanity and are lulled by the tired song and dance of "oh pity us poor defenseless victims, protect us from the devil man there" Cripes we even get visual cues, look around the House of Devils lair at all the giant piles of human bones. Bones left by the people those monsters ate. After the shit they pulled with humanity they should consider themselves LUCKY that we are allowing them shelter. Yes, we ALLOW it, and as long as they aid humanity they may be granted shelter. But the moment they raise a weapon to a human, I'm grabbing my Burning Maul and smashing some skulls without any sort of mercy. Stand with humanity, fine. Stand against humanity and they die like the rest.
-
Eh don't pull that crap. Until Mithrax came along, aside from Variks yes EVERY SINGLE FALLEN was hostile and fired on us on sight. They don't get the pity parade after what their race has done. As long as they aid humanity I'll respect that, but the wounds are still VERY fresh. Maybe in time they can work to mend the bad blood between humans and Eliksni...but for now the truce is tenuous.

You lack perspective. This is OUR solar system. The xenos have come as invaders, killing our people, raiding our worlds, looting our cities, taking our territory. This has gone on for hundreds of years, to the point where all we have left is the one City. It's actually called "The Last City", the last bastion of hope for the human race. We are an endangered species now. We have every right to give them the proverbial armored boot if they continue to oppose us.
-
You speak as if the humans of earth haven't been killing thier own since the dark ages. Corrupt guardians, warlords have all been killing other humans. While certain races in the destiny universe are evil, the fallen are not. The reason the came to earth is to follow thier God. The believed the travel to be their god and when it abandoned them, they followed. They didn't come to earth or our solar system as invaders. Are there bad fallen? Absolutely. But there are also bad humans/exos/awoken. Who of which are members of humanity. Members of the last city. Saint-14 didn't murder countless fallen for survival. He murdered them because he enjoyed it. And being trapped in the infinite forest for countless years can change a person. The fallen/eliksni are what humanity would be if the traveler had abandoned us. Humanity and fallen are much more alike that you may want to believe.

Have all fallen eaten children? I doubt it. If you consider the fallen eating children evil, but don't consider guardians murdering innocent fallen, which presumably includes thier children as well evil. They you dont have a right to speak on whats right and wrong. Its the few bad apple argument. You cant condemn a whole race for the wrongs of a few. Thats literally one the narrative of this season. How many innocent fallen did saint-14 kill during his crusade against the fallen? Or do you just view all fallen as evil?
-
That wasn’t my question. Your evasion is telling. Guardians? I’m only aware of one. Yet the whole of them gets blamed. Seems a little...double standardish to me. If you can’t apply standards equally, you don’t have the right to speak on it. I view all Fallen, except House Light, as enemies. There are no innocent Fallen. Fallen children grow up to be fighters, or else supporting their House. All Houses threaten humanity. A non combatant who arms and feeds the fighters is innocent? No they aren’t. You condemn killing the children but you ignore that the more Enemy fallen there are, the more Humans they kill. So it’s not a simple black and white matter. You have to make the hard decision. Is a human child worth saving over a fallen child. The Fallen could of went anywhere, they choose to invade and kill us. So why should we martyr our civilians for them?
The reason the came to earth is to follow thier God. The believed the travel to be their god and when it abandoned them, they followed. They didn't come to earth or our solar system as invaders.
You need to reread the lore. The Fallen did not come here peacefully, they came and brought violence. Violence to OUR home. Yes they followed their "god" but when they got here they lashed out at US.
But there are also bad humans/exos/awoken. Who of which are members of humanity. Members of the last city.
OUR Last City. Sure there's some scumbags, always will be. Price of freedom of choice and thought, not everyone will be altruistic and perfect...but they're still OUR people, and people with some very fresh memories of being attacked and slaughtered by alien races. From the likes of Six Fronts and Twilight Gap, to the Scourge raid, to the Red War, the wounds are still VERY fresh and the animosity will not go away for a LONG time. To suddenly expect everyone to be open and accepting and buddy buddy with Mithrax now? Pure naiveté. I as a Guardian believe him to be of good character, and trust that he will keep his people in line...but the average citizen? All they will see is the face of one of the things for the past couple hundred years has tried their damndest to kill them. It will take a LOT of work to build that bridge. It can be done but anyone who expects it to be done with the snap of a finger needs a good visit from a Lament.
Saint-14 didn't murder countless fallen for survival. He murdered them because he enjoyed it. And being trapped in the infinite forest for countless years can change a person
I advise you to read this transcript. Watching Dregs eat children, Fallen butchering people because they believe it will earn back their "god's" favor, pursuing fleeing humans across multiple planets. These Fallen are not victims. Saint was forged into the Doom Slayer of Fallen because of how they attacked humans, it was revenge; fury, and rage at the atrocities he witnessed them commit. They crossed lines that should never be crossed.
The fallen/eliksni are what humanity would be if the traveler had abandoned us. Humanity and fallen are much more alike that you may want to believe.
And that changes little. This is OUR system. These are OUR planets. They have alot of work to do if they want to even have a chance of living together, they do not simply get a free pass for crying victim or refugee.

I mean with have experience with mithrax a little in d1 so its not like the house of light is completely unknown to us. House of light hasn’t hurt us yet so why now? I don’t think they have any tricks to hide unless some weird shit is happening we dont know about.
-
Bullshit. We never saw every single fallen. Just because every single one you encountered shot you, doesnt mean every single one would. I never saw a old person that was mean, does that mean they dont exist?
