There's a twofold problem in the Crucible right now when it's about gun-fights. First, there are way too many Special Ammo around, so many that someone can literally just play an entire Match by using Special Weapons only [i](Shotguns, Snipers, Fusion Rifles, Grenade Launchers)[/i]. Second, Special Weapons are incredible effective compared to Primaries and when combined with Abilities of a specific Class/Subclass, they become terrible. Stasis Titan with OmegaSlide Aspect + Shotgun, Flying Warlocks with Jotun, jumping Hunters with Grenade Launchers with remote detonation ecc. Since nerfing Special Weapons and Abilities would be: 1) bad, and 2) too complex to balance properly [i](knowing Bungie's PvP Team...)[/i], my opinion is that the best option is to reduce the quantity of Special Ammo in Crucible environment in order to make players to [b]THINK[/b] when actually use a Special Weapon and don't be free to abuse of their destructive power all the time long making Primaries useless and gun-fights almost inexistent.
