Destiny has always been like this. After an hour in one place though, you have to call it. No point spending 2 hours at once section. The whole raid should be done within 2 hours. The only good thing about raids these days, bungie fixed most of the glitchy issues so you can progress a little faster.. If you didn't play D1. .there was a raid with a boss named crota.. Son of a -blam!- was programmed soo poorly early on. You'd get stuck on the boss for hours cause of how bad it was. Even though the raid was super easy.
