So if I want to express some things that I don't like about D2 raids versus D1 raids, I will do just that. The funny thing is, all of these posts on this forum are just about the mechanics, and barely anyone is looking at the actual issues with the raids in this game, and what is going to cause a lot of groups to give up except for the players that are obsessed that they will run something a 100 times in a roll just to try to get that (one item.)

Vog felt nostalgic and i liked the needed changes...exept the change to detainment...but thats just my opinion.

The people that are complaint that vog is bad in d2. Is the same people that refuse to adapt to stasis in the crucible. Only one how to use shotguns and refuse to use anything other than that. Would of -blam!- if vog was cookie cut from d1 to d2. Prove me wrong

I agree VOG is good. It's good in D1. Honestly I couldn't care less about the contest modifier but the oracle change is just dumb. Compared to the way Vog was already made the oracle change just ruins the experience "oh but you just want things to be to easy" to anyone that actually thinks thats the issue, I'm sorry but your dumb. Not only do the oracles not work properly but its just unnecessary tediousness that ruins the fun of the original raid. One of the prime reasons why people enjoyed vog so much is because like i said in another post you can go to the tower group up and chill with random people and still get it done weather people were new to the raid or not. Now the way it was introduced in D2 you can't do the same anymore. If a majority of the people that play D2 actually enjoyed suffering through some of these mechanics lfg groups would not be as toxic and there wouldn't be so many people complaining about these new changes to the raid. But that's not the case. For most people that play this game its way more fun to just shoot things then it is to rub your stomach while jumping on your left foot and then backflipping in 3 times before you use your microwave for 30 seconds.

Contest is there to keep anyone but streamers from getting world’s first. It should be optional so average people don’t get shut out of getting the emblem. But it’s actually not a hard raid without contest mode. A few changes are annoying but not that bad to deal with.

Just a bunch of entitled brats upset they didn't get a participation trophy because they use there famous line. "Hurr hurr I been here since d1 alpha prostrate yourselves to me hurr". Most of them couldn't even get in the door.

Obviously some people are going to like it and some won’t. But looking at the amount of posts saying they ruined VoG and the amount of votes for each post, I’d say you’re in the minority here The raid is not difficult, challenge mode was. But the biggest issue is, the raid is just not fun. There is no replay value here, VoG will be dead very quickly

Agreed - Changes were expected and tbh not that bad. Only thing that caught me off guard was detainment changes but now that I'm use to it it's nowhere near as bad.

My only feedback is relic should cleanse. It puts priority on and the safety and longevity of the relic.

I personally thought this updated version would be the “hard mode”. I kind of wanted og vog back for just a simple fun thing to do, with maybe some added enemies here and there. It’s got me worried for the real hard mode release. We better get some adept raid loot for the troubles lol.

Sorry but contest was legitimate BS. The moment it was turned off templar went from wtf to WHY IS HE SO EASY. Thats bad design. Plain and simple. (I did kill him on contest by the way)
