A shame too because I have always be a fervent supporter to her cause but it is super clear that her agenda is based on obtaining political power and snuff out the Eliksni as a choice of peace. The more I played this game, the more I realized something: The key enemies of the Last City are the Fallen, Cabal, Hive and Vex. However, only the last two serve the Darkness. The Fallen and the Cabal not only don't serve the Darkness; they are being threatened by it. This suggests that the smart move is to leverage the Fallen and the Cabal against the servants of the Darkness. A the-enemy-of-my-enemy-is-my-friend situation. Well, were it so easy... The Cabal waged the highly traumatic Red War on the Last City. As for the Fallen, humanity spent the CENTURIES between the Collapse and Twilight Gap/Six Fronts fighting against them for dear survival. In the middle of all of this, were people like Lakshmi-2. And to make matters worse she feels that no one is taking her seriously. And this is eating at her! Surely, somebody needs to beat some sense into her. And tell her that the Device predictions are quite open to interpretation. Worse, that the Eternal Night might have compromised the Device. But how are you going to make her listen if she feels that NOBODY LISTENS TO HER!

Xenophobia is the word you're looking for. As for stopping it - I hear you but you can only control you and respectfully, she's a fictional character designed to be a protagonist this season. Chance of come-uppance; high. That said, to stay n character ourselves, we have no way of understanding two things: 1: her past experience with the Eliksni, who have (in general) been trying to destroy humanity since arriving in Sol. 2: current influences to her opinions from sources she is close to, either inside or outside the city, as it's rumored the FWC is under Savathun's control. We've seen some good done by some Eliksni recently but being fair, they've shown themselves to be a brutal and at times overwhelming enemy to the last city for hundreds of years. The kind of emotions that go along with that are usually not able to be simply pushed aside and would make her character far less credible if they could. Remember, she's not the only one uneasy about this alliance, many are wary on both sides no doubt but the Vex pose a bigger threat right now so that's where the focus is. Enemy of my enemy and all that...

I like discrimination

It's not racism, at least not the way it's defined anyway. It's a constant state of war between humanity and Eliksni that's caused it. To the point that the leaked cutscene that portrayed Saint as a horrendous murderer is legitimately the House Light's fear of him made real. In a way, it mirrors what happens in a real life prolonged conflict. When all we are fed is what horrible monsters the other side is, that's what we begin to see them as.

We never wanted them in the sol system to begin with. They committed countless atrocities to humanity. Saint killed the hatchlings because they were to dangerous to be kept alive and would grow up to be fighters. The fallen almost won at Twilight Gap and we needed to slaughter their houses to make sure they wouldn't attempt a attack on the city again. We have seen that house of light is an ally with humanity and we should keep it that way until the war is over. Then (assuming humanity wins) we should quickly build up our military, population and nuclear arsenal. When humanity is strong enough to having not to rely on guardians as a means of a military. The following should happen. -The Vanguard goes under human military control with top generals being the new commanders. This can happen gradually. -The warmind ai known as rasputin is retired and replaced with another one that will serve as an military advisory and strategy role and not control our wepaons. The reasoning is do to his emotions and his little spats (killing the iron lords) -The protohive (assuming destroying the darkness takes away their powers) will be destroyed. If they are still the same then we'll turn to experts regarding this situation and how we can get rid of them. -The cabal will be asked to leave the sol system. If they refuse to leave we'll fight them out. -The fallen will be asked to leave the system. If they refuse to leave we'll fight them out. - The experts regarding the vex will come up with a solution on how to deal with them. The goal being understanding and destroying them. -All research regarding the darkness and Clovis Bray research will be turned over to the New Vanguard The overall goal is to get humanity back to the pre traveler state of progression. With a emphasis on military power. And to give humanity full control of the sol system.
