The fact that 2 shaders and an emote that are all from vault of glass are only purchasable in eververse is like mobile game levels of scummy, and i'm all for raids having cool cosmetics, but when its locked behind a pay wall after you already did the activity is unacceptable.

I don’t see the issue with shaders if we’re getting the usual amount and then some.

11 通の返信People need to look at the big picture. This on top of what they did with transmog and bright dust is just beyond inexcusable at this point. When are people going to realize that Bungie has gone WAY too far with Eververse? They already make hundreds of millions of dollars from it every year. How much more can they try to nickle and dime people before people start to realize that this is unacceptable for the game that we have consistently supported for years?

4 通の返信If I’m being honest, the game going “free to play” was the worst decision for this game. Now every time we complain about the OBVIOUS and GREEDY monetization crap they keep pulling you’re guaranteed to hear somebody say: WeLl ThEy NeEd To MaKe MoNeY sOmEhOw!!!!! 😐😑😐 As if none of us actually paid for the game at full price when it wasn’t “free to play”. It was done on purpose with the sole reason of expanding Eververse. This is a game that deserves more development time and polish than drip feed content.

2 通の返信I remember when they said “we’re keeping cosmetic items that belong in dungeon and raid in the raids and dungeons from now on” in response to shadowkeep and the eververse drama. Man how time flys

14 通の返信Post this on reddit. People need to know. This level of scamming money from loyal customers is a disgrace. We have to draw a line. No further

5 通の返信Are they only purchasable through Eververse?... If they are. Then Wow!!! That's an all time low.😂😂😂 Man that GREED is seeping out, milking an almost 7 year old activity. This is a sign folks. The GREED and desperation is clear. There is nothing left here that even the old recycled content is being used for scummy tactics. WOW!!! All cards are down now. This is not a bluff anymore. This is just old fashion GREED! It's a clear sign. Empty game being milked! I can't believe on a 7 year old activity. This is not done for the community to enjoy an old time raid. This is a scheme to milk nostalgia! 😂😂😂 What such a low standard this game has become into! I couldn't believe this is the game I bought in 7 years ago. Man, this is so low! Just low. It's so nasty I don't even want to touch it! That feeling of disgust that churn your innards?...Yeah, this is worse than that! Yuck!!! Logic!

2 通の返信No, no, you have to complete the raid, then they let you buy the shaders. Pretty cool, huh?

1 返信Bungie really are getting worse and worse. At this point it's clear where their priorities are. Subsidising revenue is fine, but making paid content, then locking some of that content behind a paywall is just scummy. EA would be proud. typical Bungo though, they probably will pretend everyone loves it and just keep going.

1 返信I felt the same way about the Iron Banner exotic emotes and ghost projections being in eververse So I didn't buy them

19 通の返信You guys aren't really understanding what op is referring to here. Go look at the shaders in the collection tab. The last 2 in the seasonal section say in the description: "Complete the Vault of Glass raid to unlock this shader in Eververse." You have to complete VoG first, which then gives you the ability to BUY them from Eververse. This is unprecedented from Bungie where you cannot receive cosmetics directly from the raid itself. It represents a whole new level of greed and should be called out immediately before this starts being applied to other activites.

108 通の返信Remember when D1 players said - stop complaining, EV is only for cosmetics. It isn't getting any worse. Remember how dumb those folks sounded? I think it's utterly hilarious I'm seeing names that participated in those discussions years ago on the other side of the fence, because they were too gullible. I suppose it's better late than never. I just wish people weren't so blind to basic economics and the current use of microtransactions, especially as it applies to a company like Bungie. Remember when Bungie said that was to support the live team for more "free" events? Lol! Good times.

Lull9により編集済み: 5/17/2021 9:10:25 PMBungie will always keep pushing eververse harder and harder until they get community outrage. Then they'll walk it back it a little bit. Then they'll let some time pass until the last bullshit is no longer fresh in people's minds. Then the cycle repeats endlessly. They have people whose job it is to keep increasing the monetization of cosmetics. And it's a lot of money at stake, so they take it seriously. No amount is ever "enough" because they can always TRY to get MORE. And of course there will always be human doormats on forums who are happy to bend over and grab their ankles with a smile and say: "It's fine!" no matter how bad it gets.

2 通の返信TheShadowにより編集済み: 5/16/2021 2:49:20 PM
is like mobile game levels of scummy,
What did you expect knowing NetEase is on the board teaching them how to be a mobile game company? What's interesting that someone else mentioned. If Bungie changes things for whatever reason because it's getting a lot of attention, they will play stupid and say something like, "we thought this is what you wanted". So if and when they change whatever the hard-core Bungie fans will thank them and claim "Bungie is listening to the community" and business will go on as usual all the while ignoring Bungie's deliberate poor actions like this have taken place a few times over the years. Manipulation seems to be strong with this company.
