This mostly came about due to the presence of Stasis, and the difficulty Bungie has with balancing a subclass that is built around a system that the playerbase simply does not like.
Well, if we can't just get rid of it, why not make counters for it? This might promote a healthier gameplay overall, and promote usage of Light Subclasses anyway, so why not?
[b]All Solar Sublasses[/b]: Slower freeze buildup time. Significantly faster breakout time from freeze. Immune to Freeze when Super is fully charged, or Super is active.
[b]All Arc Subclasses[/b]: Resistant to slow effects. Move faster when Super is fully charged.
[b]All Void Subclasses[/b]: resistant to all debuffs (debuff timers are shortened) immune to knockback and draw-in effects. Damage-over-time and environmental hazard effects reduced. When Super is fully charged, kills restore a small portion of HP (does not start health regen)
[b]Shadowshot[/b]: Remove the red Aura that illuminates the location of an anchor. This allows for players to strategically pre-place tethers at ambush sites.
[b]Well of Radiance and Ward of Dawn[/b]: immunity to slow and freeze effects while inside of Well and Ward
[b]Thundercrash[/b]: Immune to Freeze
What are your thoughts? Does anybody else have any other potential ideas?
Still not sure what they could do to Nova Warp that would revive it, since they seem pretty intent on not wanting it to do.... well, what it used to do.
