You have to do around 150 strikes to get enough synthstrands for 5 armor pieces
Which will take abouht 37,5 hours of pure playtrough if we assume strike takes 15 minutes if we skip all loadings. It's not even counting the bounties you'll have to do afterwards. It also takes 40 -blam!-ing years to make all of your armor into ornaments. What the actual -blam!-?

1 返信Did anyone else get 2 sets off the bat seemingly? I didn’t pay for any of the mats from Eververse, I ran the missions with Ada and did one other activity and came out with enough to transmog 12 pieces.

6 通の返信I dont think your are supposed to unlock all of them. Honestly it doesn't even matter. Is a visual nothing to do with gameplay.

2 通の返信Playing mostly gambit, and almost entirely on just my titan, I have crafted 10 titan gears and have 4 left I can do. I also have 11 each on my other 2 characters. I hardly put 37+ hours into the game to transmog 5 pieces.

3 通の返信Bullshit. I’ve got 15 armour pieces done this week and have only done what I’ve needed to do. Just played the game and haven’t been on it as much as I am normally.

5 通の返信After I did Adas quest on my hunter , I was able to unlock 12 armor pieces , and that was more than enough for my hunter Where is this grind I keep hearing about

Somebody in Community already did the math. The verdict?... I think reports from communuty said it will take 25 hours to transmog a complete set of 5 armor pieces. 25 hours, non-stop. If you average 5 hours a day playing. That will take you 5 days to completely transmog an entire class set of 5 armor pieces. I don't even play that long in a day. 😂😂😂 I'm kinda just spit balling here. Just to summarize, in order to completely transmog your limit in a season, it will take you 150 hours non-stop to transmog all your capacity on 3 characters per season. That's gonna probably take me 3 months or more to do it in the time allotted when I play. 😂😂😂 It's ridiculously ridiculous! 😂😂😂 Logic!

2 通の返信not correct - if you run rotating activities you receive more synth strand (the rotating activity focus changes). first 24 hours it was vanguard playlist strikes (I was achieving enough to have only needed to run 6 strikes to achieve 150 synth strand) and the vanguard bounty which was run 4 strikes and get 200 void kills is nothing (2 strikes to get all the void kills and 4 vanguard playlist strikes takes no time at all) 1 piece done in under 1.5 hours - so not too sure where the idea of 37.5 hours to transom 5 armour pieces comes from In addition you can only transmog a capped amount per season - a season lasts approx 12 weeks, so not too sure why we are worrying about even a 37.5 hour gameplay timeframe to do something you can do a limited amount of times - to achieve something which is totally cosmetic and not at all 'compulsory' or beneficial in any way for gameplay

80 通の返信Gonna be an arse and play devils advocate here. They gave you 10 for free, and you get another 5 for.......playing the game (will easily be done in a season). Let’s be honest, how many transmogs are you legitimately going to use, when 85% of armour looks naff and 50% of what is left is a reskin. They could have easily given you 5 for free and pay walled the rest, they are a business after all. The money from this could be funding more S tier exotic quests. I’m not saying this is my absolute opinion on this, but I feel like this community is becoming a little entitled, sadly reflecting the western world at large. Sad times.

This has been a light week for me playing and I am logging in ATM. I run Titan main and haven’t logged onto my other characters yet this season. However, in only 3 days I’ve collected 13 plates for my Titan and 11 each for the other two. Played enough strikes, gambit and other stuff to finish bounty requirements from vendors. You really don’t heave to do extra grinding for TMOG. Just focus on getting rid of the gold dots on the director page and your weekly triumphs and the TMOG materials will be a byproduct.

But you got my sympathy here as this is insane and a highly deceptive stealth update. its near criminal to have such a thing and intentionally try to hide it. reminds me of exp throttling. Its something like 150 hours of game play REQUIRED to get the maximum number of synth weaves unlocked. I spent silver for mine but you f2p have my sympathy none the less, down right dirty move on bungies side. Bungie dug their grave here by not being transparent about it. EDIT: and please dont buy their sh!t if they say it was unintentional, they do this all the time to try and garner some sense of forgiveness from the community(atleast once a season if not more). If your new to the game and considering giving them the benefit of the doubt. PLEASE dont this is their track record. enough of the lies.

What’s that, like an average of 50hrs? Ridiculous. I don’t mind a little grind. That’s what these games are about. My issue is when it arbitrary and manipulative. These companies consult with psychologists and focus group this stuff. All to see how far they can push you. To prey on you.
