You know how we don't see our guardian face often? What do y'all think about see-through visors for some helmets? Might be a fun ornament.

1 返信For the past few months I have been making a game. Its a co-op action with custom characters which was already an ordeal in itself. On top of many many things I want to experiment with I wanted exactly this. I am longer doing this. It causes so many issues just to implement and when we thought we got it working another twelve things went wrong. Now what i was doing was on a tiny tiny scale compared to destiny... And Destiny can barely support two people standing in the same place without something going wrong, this will likely never happen without a huge engine overhaul which will also never happen.

Damn seems alot of people dont get how much power that would take, i would assume they would maybe understand there was a reason every helmet wasn’t see through or that most games that do have visors are pretty performance heavy (mainly multiplayer ones that allow customization not ones were they have assets specifically made for it)

That takes alot of power as every guardian uses basically the same asset when armor is equipped Using a see-through visor would take a shit ton of work, I normally don’t defend bungie and work but this is actually a shit ton of work that would have to go into each see-through helmet and would probably make tons of bugs

1 返信I'd say too much renderring for memory during an active event... But knowing Bungie's lack of planning abilities (like vault space) - they probably do the 3D renderring/mapping under the helmet even when you can't see it. I have absolutely no evidence that siggests otherwise.

2 通の返信How 'bout a paper bag with holes cut out for the eyes? We can wear it every time they make decisions like their transmog system.

4 通の返信When you apply helmet to your character. The helmet becomes a hollow space underneath it. You don't have your actual character's head there. I've seen it. It's just a hollow empty space inside the helmet. Laziness will take them forever to encode all our different actual faces into a transparent helmet especially if you wear it during gameplay with your character having different emotions on different situations. Imagine having an open helmet with only a transparent face visor in PvP gameplay and your character doesn't react with a blank face all the time. They couldn't even pull it off putting an actual character's head underneath our regular helmets. Let alone add emotions on them during gameplay under a helmet with a visible visor. Laziness, greed, and focus with other projects can't support this game without milking it.😂😂😂 They're even monetizing a transmog feature with a technology that's already in the game for several years and is being utilized for free by everyone now. For FREE! Do you think they'll spend time doing this?...😂😂😂 Then you don't know lazy and greedy. 😂😂😂 Logic!

TheShadowにより編集済み: 5/11/2021 12:20:06 AMNo more ornaments. I get your idea and there is nothing wrong with suggesting something new, but Bungie has spent way too much time creating junk loot in this game to promote Eververse and barely any loot worth acquiring in the activities themselves. This isn't Fortnite and Bungie shouldn't be treating this game like it is at all, yet they have been.

7 通の返信Technically speaking, as Guardians, we don't need the helmets at all. Just give a selection option for combat areas too. Ana Bray, Asher Mir, Sloan, Eris all survive(d) just fine on their planets without a helmet or mask, so we clearly don't need them for breathing. It's just for combat situations, but surely we could hide the helmet there too. If Ikora can Nova Bomb a Cabal ship without a helmet (way back in Red War), then so can we.
