Ada-1 is a weapon forge ... right?
The sun-setting of the Black Armory weapons was a real loss to the loot pool, both from a quality and quantity POV.
We helped Ada attain her full forge potential... and now what?
Here she comes to help us weave synths from synths from synths ... for an appearance system? So as the Darkness surrounds us, we are playing Guardian Games for EV loot, while we use a special weapon forge as a transmog system....

2 通の返信Did you listen to her talking AT ALL? The forges got destroyed by the pyramid ships. And the loom can help build weapons and frames and city defences if she has more data on how to operate it. It can now only make ornaments....but it can be used to make ANYTHING with enough data.

1 返信And Eva was our resident shader lady. Now she's turned into a seasonal MC that cant stop talking about Carlos and Maria. Or that Eris and Zavala are fighting for the same side. On a side note, she says something about the never thought she would see the darkness return. How would she know about the darkness? She doesnt look like she has a ghost. As for Ada, she had to shut down the forges due to covid social distancing. So she took up synth weaving in college, because underwater basket weaving class was full.

Almost every one of them got replaced with better versions. There also wasn’t a whole lot of them and they weren’t in the loot pool for anything other than forges. Less than 1% of players were doing forges. If they ever come back, they need new rolls.

9 通の返信I mean, yeah? It could have been any character, and you could make the same complaint. Shaxx is a powerful character, why is he limited to looking after the crucible? Ikora is one of the most powerful guardians to ever exist, and she does nothing now. Saint-14, is on trials. This isnt really news.

4 通の返信her whole MO was that the traveler made us weak and needed to focus on weaponry. They sunset the gear after we rebuilt the forges. Lorewise she was off with Lakshmi working on weapons. Yet now she is returning as a fashionista....

3 通の返信I always found it stupid that Ada was not a weapons vendor after the Black Armory. Sure, Banshee, whatever. But Ada had one job. One job! And the lack of continuity ruined her.

It's easier to make a really convoluted system to change armour appearance than to make actual content. And they can say they have us something we've been asking for - even though they perverted and ruined it beyond measure and usefulness. Bungie is now in the business of redecorating digital assets. FYI, my son, not yet graduated from high school, can do that.
