Don't care if it sounds snobby, I'm sick of losing games cause I'm playing against people who register damage half a second after there hit. It either needs changing so it favours the better connection or people with a. 5 download shouldn't be allowed to play

2 通の返信people that no nothing about servers and connectivity shouldn't be allowed to speak about it. :)

2 通の返信Define "bad connection". A lack of regional dedicated servers and the latency caused by outside-of-region matchmaking is the real issue. Those are Bungie problems to solve. Not player problems.
-
Yeah I feel like the person with the bad connection is getting the short end of the stick, not the person with the good connection. Also what the butt fudge bungie?!!player to player connection based my posterior end.

2 通の返信As one who lives rurally and doesn’t have access to higher internet speeds, I will say it does not benefit me either in the slightest. If you’re having trouble hitting me, I’m having a worse time hitting you. Not exactly saying this as an excuse as I don’t play much these days, but just saying that from the perspective of someone who has slower internet speeds, I don’t benefit from it as much as you might think I would.

The only ones against this are those that are unfortunate enough to have bad connections or those that purposefully have bad connections. Over thousands of matches i’ve noticed that bad connections are more common among elite players than potatoes. The reason for that I believe is that bad connections occur naturally in the wild, but that some people purposefully lag switch or manipulate their connection for an advantage.

3 通の返信Oh boy, you've certainly brought out all the players with bad connections, haven't you :p

2 通の返信Obscure Memeにより編集済み: 5/10/2021 6:16:11 PMMost of the people with bad download are also probably on DSL which is a severely outdated transmission method through questionably intact series of copper wire. I got new internet recently and that was the main issue. Instability across the wire lead to massive packet loss. Most of the time it’s their only option.

All the free money Democrats kicking out and people still have the connection of a bum. Embarrassing.

11 通の返信It’s not that black and white mate. It’s multiple factors that can influence your connection.

Agreed while were at it why are new players allowed in comp like whats the point other than making it impossible for your teammates to win. Id like comp to be actually competitive and something to practice in that isnt trials. Comp needs better matchmaking so so bad
-
Kinda crazy isn't it? These people are rewarded for their poor internet connections. It's comical. This is why nobody will ever take Trials serious and why Destiny will NEVER be considered a serious PvP game nor hold any sort of competitive scene (tournaments).

Meanwhile, not everyone has a Fiber connection because of location in the world, or even cost as a factor because a provincial government doesn't think that having a fair price point helps out the masses. Rather the consumer base is simply bent over a barrel forced to take the connections that are offered... I'm at 60MB/s Down and 10MB/s Up.... Basically a Cable connection.

1 返信Maybe you should kick Bungie in the sack first. because believe me the Singing Canary is not my fault or on my backend. I have 200Mbit/s both up and down. FIBER and Cat6 So no, the bad connection is really Bungies. Not all cases perhaps but many of them for sure!

Honestly Bungies anti cheat needs some heavy work, legit had a guy on one of my runs invisible the entire game, couldn't see him anywhere, but he got endless kills, no deaths. His profile on steam is private too
