Another year another awful undercooked event.
The sole purpose of this event is to sell eververse garbage and nothing more stop wasting your employees efforts and remade guardian games into the faction rally.

Can't forgot that the same trophy from year 1 guardian games will be reused in the 2022, 2023, and 2024 games, regardless of who wins. It'll just be put on a taller stand and moved to a slightly different location so it will look like another trophy was made.

Other games make events to introduce some nice styles, gears, weapons and w.e cool thing your character can use, with the event bringing new activity and not tough or crazy just something fun to blow up stuff and you know have "FUN". But destiny introduces their events with just plain garbage bounty hunts doing the same thing we doing and sell all their cosmetics to everis lol. It was such a waste of time and resources. And the event is rigged lol

17 通の返信You should be thanking Bungie that Activision left. You know, now that they are gone Bungie can create the game they always wanted to, and "they are showing us how much better they are doing without them because Activision was holding them back". At least that is what the hard-core Bungie fans were saying for years.

It's too bad, because Guardian Games could easily be tweaked into a pretty good passive activity, but it tries too hard to be an event you need to play exclusively. This is how I would update GG in 2022: 1. At the beginning of the event, you pick a class to pledge your loyalty. 2. You get class reputation whenever you play the game on your selected class, you get no reputation when playing on another class. The class reputation does not require bounties, but just playing the game. 3. Remove challenger cards or ways to get reputation from bounties. If you keep bounties, have them be a way to get additional loot, not reputation. 4. Remove negative modifiers from GG strike playlist and increase rewards/reputation from this activity. 5. Update the handicap system to incentivize winning instead of losing, something closer to last year's system, but toned down just a little bit. Guardian Games works best as a passive activity similar to the Dawning. No one wants to grind medals for seemingly no reward.

Just another "half-baked" event to add to the list of shit they put out. I saw on their twitter page that Bungie had this big post trying to celebrate the winners and give some form of inspiring message with it. It's a massive joke.

2 通の返信Flakeにより編集済み: 5/9/2021 6:10:43 PMImagine caring so much about an "event" which only purpose is to advertise cash shop items. I got the catalyst first medal turn in I got, and immediately dropped out. It's not worth the investment, it never was.

1 返信
The sole purpose of this event is to sell eververse garbage and nothing more stop wasting your employees efforts and remade guardian games into the faction rally.
This is what seasonal/yearly events have become now. While it would be nice to have events that are less Eververse focused, it seems unlikely at this point for major ones. As far as the event's content went though, it was a free event that gave out an exotic and its catalyst that could both be grinded out in a single day; for what it's worth, that's actually a reasonable grind even if the event itself was (improved yet) still mediocre.
