When you realize Streamers and tryhards need God Rolls
Soooo I watched Luckyy10p do a video about the Seventh Seraph Revolver and how the perks selection makes it terrible. I do agree the weapon needs more perks but the weapon isnt bad. The blame he states is due to the archetype the weapon is in which works as intended.
I am shock but surprised at the thoughts of this player. This is solely why Bungie needs to stop admiring what these clowns say and take what they say as a grain of thought.
What is even more sad is that this player plays on Keyboard and Mouse on PC and still assumes the weapon is trash.
I have used the Seventh Seraph Revolver since they have introduced it and I can say for sure it is a pretty good weapon. The problem lies in the META shifts and players constantly using the same exact loadouts for each and every content in the game rather than everything.
Do these players not remember when Not Forgotten and Luna’s Howl were broken as 180s? I dont think they would be on the same scale but we need to get away from the Hand Cannon META nonsense and focus on true overall diversify balance. This is coming from someone who has used off META since the beginning of D2.

Destiny 2 has an extremely bad power creep issue that borderline ruins the loot system, if you are using anything other than whatever is best in slot you are at a clear disadvantage and that is just the way this game is. It's all about the optimal add clear, the optimal dps, the optimal champion melt, and the game is this way BY DESIGN. The streamers did not create this issue, the developers did. I swear if world hunger was blamed on streamers the people on the forums would eat it up.

Only reason Seraph sees any use is because it generates Warmind Cells - and even then, you're WAY better off just using the IKELOS SMG. You're also failing to realize that hand cannons/shotguns will always be meta as long as the maps support them. If you want to see variety, then we need maps with larger areas that favor pulse rifles and legendary scouts.

3 通の返信The most I'd use Seraph Revolver is in PvE, i dunno about PvP, it hangs somewhere between okay and Meh for me.

I perfer azteccross (mostly for his voice, he's always hyped) but there is videos that I find pointless, like watching him do a 0-4 in trials, why watch someone else win when you could? Its like sports, watching someone else play os just boring to me. But I digress, certain God rolls are just...okay I suppose, I got that hand cannon you mentioned with fourth times the charm, vorpal and a range master work, its nice, could it be better? Maybe. It depends on the person. Lately I feel a streamers voice is meaningless, experiment with the guns! See what you like. Not what the clown streamers say you should like.

The only redeeming qualities of the seraph revolver are > Kinetic > Warmind cells It genuinely is hurt by its perk pool. Why would I use this 180 handcannon when this other one has better perks? Nothing really synergizes well enough like other perk pools. It also doesn't help that 180s aren't really all that great either. The fact that it's only real damage perk (other than VORPAL WEAPON) is multi kill clip coupled with the fact that the only perk that help reload speed (while keeping multi kill clip) being threat detector is not a great combination. Why use the seraph revolver when I can use the Posterity which comes with better auto loading holster, rapid hit and feeding frenzy which can ALL couple with rampage in the second slot. And if I absolutely need warmind cells, I can just use the seraph LMG.

Yes, streamers and tryhards 🤦♂️ What's up with this ridiculous terminology that everybody seems to have adopted nowadays. Also, youtubers are individuals with different personalities so the person you watched is sharing his individual opinion and you're calling the whole youtuber population clowns as a result.

First off screw lucky10p. But apparently you know nothing about lethality or ttk. Nf and Luna had a ttk of 0.67. Seventh Trash 180 has a 1 second ttk. Before you say we'll everyone uses 120s and they have a 1 second ttk. 120s have 3x the range and the less bullets a weapon takes to kill the more Lethal it is no matter the ttk.

1 返信The Seventh Seraph Officer Revolver is a precision frame(180) Handcannon, of the four 180’s it has the lowest base range, stability, handling, and aim assist while also tying for smallest base magazine size. That said the only real positives about it are that it’s kinetic 180 and it’s perk pool as it can roll with things like timed payload or osmosis.

8 通の返信1) Lucky is not a streamer everyone else should be judged by for lots of reasons and I’ll just leave it at that. 2) Most players who use off meta do so to justify them not being able to compete even if they used said meta. As a community we need to stop bashing Meta vs non-meta. I am a good player and someone who was using handcannons when everyone else picked up 600 autos for a few seasons. Handcannons weren’t meta then but they were just as powerful if they suited your play style and you used them correctly. I used revoker/sidearm back when everyone said revoker was a bad pinnacle (remember that?!). This season I have used handcannons, bows and pulse rifles all with success. My ‘stats’ are actually better using the pulse (messenger/felwinter) and bow (le Monarque/high albedo) compared to me using any handcannon. I’ve also used smg and snipers and been successful too. You insinuate that by using non-meta you’re better than a player who uses meta and in turn that a player running meta is only beating you because of that load out. The truth with destiny is that there are a wide variety of guns you can be successful with and are strong and you’re no better a player for choosing to run one weapon over another.

I don't like the seventh seraph revolver cause it feels like a rubber band gun. I feel alot of 180s end up feeling like this (for me personally) the only exception being posterity but nature of the beast and most 180 just feel underwhelming.
