It's time to bail. Y'all did this. I never wanted microtransactions. I wanted a videogame, not a cashshop. I'll pay for a game, but not microtransactions.
You want this system? Then that's what they'll give you. Game has changed. They've made it into a mobile free to try version with microtransactions not associated with the game. I'm just here to play a game. This is not it.
If you like it, stay and let them milk you. If you don't, it's time to bail. This game won't change, it's a Milking Cow.
I also want transmog and shaders, but not like this. Let's bail. It's time to go.

You can still get them for free? Y'all flipping the f*** out for nothing. "Oh the new grind." FFS. You're going to get the shit just from playing the game. Sounds like it's no different then the stasis "grind" everyone complained about.

But I don't understand why anyone cares about the cap. You can only wear 5 pieces of gear at a time. Honestly, it is going to be beyond me why anyone would pay silver for it, but people do it now. Every season a new ornament comes out and people spend 15$ on it to wear it for a few months. But that's neither here nor there, nor any of my business how people spend their money. I just don't get how a cap of 20 per season when you can only wear 5 pieces of gear at a time is causing so much upset. Now, if it ends up being that they remove any unused transmogs at the end of the season, I will (in spirit) come back and retract this statement, because putting caps and then removing unused would be something to get irritated about.

ghostx78xにより編集済み: 4/29/2021 8:25:32 PMYou’re right- I spent almost 20k bright dust buying all of the celestial ornaments for all 3 characters. I know damn well I’m going to wear whatever set is the next season pass so I don’t know why I do it. Just something new to get I guess.
-
It’s only 20 for the first season then it drops to 10 pieces. For collectors it could take 15+ years or something like $3000 to do all of it. There is that argument you use about how many do you need, but it’s about choice really. When you look at how much people pay for looks in games, a cap on a system that changes the look of your character and the monetisation to remove that cap comes across as bad if you’re honest. Most people can understand the need for monetisation but it’s the way they’ve gone about it.

No. I'm not slow. I think you are. You can only wear 5 pieces of gear. Why the f*** you worried about having everything in your collections as an ornament? Insulting me shows how much intelligence you have, so logic and reason is well beyond you.

If it's not a big deal, why put a cap and then monetize it again when we've already paid for them, unlocked them and collected them? Why? If it's not a big deal, why do this? We already paid for them and unlocked them, we are wearing them now. Why? Greed!

chaos0720により編集済み: 4/29/2021 3:20:01 PMOkay snowflake. Sorry (not really) for saying a "bad word" and offending you. I'm done with you after this response, because you just showed how slow you are when you got offended over a bad word. You can only wear 5 pieces. Stop crying about only getting a limited amount. If you could only get one per season, then yes, I would be irate and with everyone else, but you can get more than enough to make a full costume. PER CHARACTER. You already paid for what? You'd paid for the game. You added gear to your collections. But that's all it is. A book to show what you've gotten. If you plan on using an ornament for gear your already wearing, then, once again, showing how slow you are. Just wear the gear you're wearing. Between getting offended by a bad word and the odor of entitlement from you, it is clear that you're a lost cause. Keep fighting the good fight. Maybe someday you'll realize that world owes you nothing.

Loot that are rewarded from playing content and activities that we've already paid for. Loot from paid activities. They were already paid for. If you buy loot from cash shop, that's up to you. It's also paid loot. But if I got my loot from paid activities, that's already paid for loot from activities we've already paid for. They don't owe us. Transmog is already in the game for free right now with armor ornaments. You can use it now for FREE if you've collected or acquired the said ornaments. It's already in the game now, for FREE.

World views are corrupted. Look at what's happening to the pot industry. They're slowly legalizing it. Kids and adults alike are distorted with euphoric drugs they can't think straight. Emotions are being utilized first. What they're really asking is not a live-service game. All they want is a constant presence in the virtual world. They've gotten disillusioned by reality that they would rather escape constantly in a virtual world with their friends so they could do the impossible. That's why gamers are asking or prefer to play live-service games. Flexing and ego is another way of getting high on the virtual world. Add to that euphoric drugs and the chemical reaction will stimulate addiction in the nervous system. Neural physiology are all governed by chemical reactions occurring in the brain. The virtual has become their appeasing reality. That's what's happening to these guys. Addiction is a dangerous thing when not checked with reality and higher brain functions. It could be debilitating to a healthy life. Outlook with this issue is not looking good. And the industry is preying on this. Big time.

I think you have something there, If I look back to when I was young I would do anything to escape my mundane reality. In fact most recreational things are enjoyed because it takes you out of your reality, alcohol, drugs, holidays, hobbies, sport and so on. I mean if you aren’t lucky enough to have a career in something you love, the biggest part of your life, which is work, can suddenly become hugely depressing and/or mundane.

Because a lot of people are not doing the job that they really love. And in some cases, people are nasty or rude to other people that it makes life miserable for some. Others just follow the paycheck, that's why some people don't last in a certain job position. In short, life sucks if you don't love what you do.
