Bows are hitscan when fully charged, so that arrow stream is just like a bullet stream. It isn’t the actual path of the shot.
Yeah I get that but for the most part bullet stream is pretty linear in most cases and you actually have to aim at what you're shooting to get a hit. That's not necessarily the case with bows, at least on console anyway. I've literally watched someone shoot an arrow at another player and the arrow literally deviate from the intended target and hit someone else. Almost like how pre-nerf weighted knife used to do.

The arrows don’t change their path. They’re hitscan. Which means if your reticle is on the target when you shoot, it’s going to hit. It doesn’t actually have travel time.
