I don't know who came up with the idea for this overly complex transmog system or who decided that cosmetic changes should be limited per season or who decided that we need a tax on applying cosmetic items we already own, but whoever did needs to sit down and rethink all of this. This is very blatantly greedy and EA levels of "one step fowards, two steps back". Please go back to the drawing board and rethink all of this.
Edit: Some of yall have clearly missed the point. Up until next season changing the ornaments on my armor was a grindless, free thing that I, or anyone for that matter, could just do. Next season I'll need to spend an hour grinding trash mobs so I can buy a single bounty that will then take another, lets say 15 minutes, to complete, so I can get another currency that isn't even confirmed to be all that we need, to get another currency to transmog a SINGLE ARMOR PIECE ONE TIME. Oh but on top of that, this method is capped. But hey, if you wanna change it passed the cap then feel free to spend $5 to change a single armor piece (300 silver will cost you five dollars) or $10 to get a full set of armor changes. Wanna change again after those? Better pay up again loser or wait until next season so you can spend another 10 hours grinding useless enemies and activities so you can make your helmet look like another helmet.

I don't know if you just worded it wrong but the cost isn't to change the look of a piece of gear it's to turn a piece of gear into a universal ornament. Those will continue to work the way they always have been and you can freely swap between looks you have. Nothing is changed in that regard.

It's time to bail. Y'all did this. I never wanted microtransactions. I wanted a videogame, not a cashshop. I'll pay for a game, but not microtransactions. You want this system? Then that's what they'll give you. Game has changed. They've made it into a mobile free to try version with microtransactions not associated with the game. I'm just here to play a game. This is not it. If you like it, stay and let them milk you. If you don't, it's time to bail. This game won't change, it's a Milking Cow. I also want transmog and shaders, but not like this. Let's bail. It's time to go.

People are actually defending bungie it’s shocking. Can’t you see the big picture? Look at all the broken games being rushed and released just lately with a bunch of lies from developers and broken promises. The gaming industry is getting greedier and more scummy and it’ll only get worse with children like you just eating it all up.

9 通の返信Exactly how many pieces of armor do you intend to make into ornaments? People are constantly complaining how ugly the Destiny 2 armor is, yet they are upset that they can't turn the ugly armor into ornament without limits?

4 通の返信Everyone is acting like Transmog is going to make them better at the game, lol. Its an endgame cosmetic choice that serves no other purpose than to change your appearance.

1 返信
shouldn't have to pay for style
That's the worst argument I've heard. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a huge fan of the cap per season, even though practically speaking I'll only use 2-3 armor sets per character, it is always nice to have more options for transmog. With that said, there was always going to be an option to outright purchase it through Eververse. If you didn't think that was going to happen, you were lying to yourself. The reason your argument is bad is because microtransactions are specifically meant to be paying for cosmetics. Microtransactions have zero in-game benefit, only affecting how you look. Even if there wasn't a seasonal cap on transmog, I'd still be perfectly fine with being able to purchase them with Silver, it is an option for people to pay for cosmetics.

1 返信I honestly don’t mind the cap, I don’t really need more than a few anyway. My issue comes with grind, why would I want to bother grinding for ornaments? That killed my hype. Its not that I’m lazy or anything, I just personally thought customization would’ve been a quality of life change over another tedious process.

3 通の返信ChaseyCakesにより編集済み: 4/23/2021 2:43:43 PMThe insane grind I'm ok with, but being capped at 20 armor pieces a character is messed up why put a cap on it and why bring back old solstice armor without the armor glows. I understand if casual players feel more likely to spend money for transmog but if you have the time to grind for the armor why not let them. Not to mention if it's not capped that would give the community something to chase while we wait for witch queen.
