This is not about point balancing or anything like that!!!! This is for the way to participate!!!!
The way you can earn Laurels from anywhere, earn straight up medals to help your team (without) bounties. The cards are a fun/not annoying addition to chase for too. Eververse cosmetics are cool and the triumphs aren’t even a requirement if you don’t want it. AND they fixed every exploit from last year, (that I noticed) no more character delete/recreate medal cheese, heir apparent isn’t locked behind medal farming, and a few more I saw from last year.
No bounties, no grind, just do anything you want... and help your team.
So enjoy the games! :)
EDIT: to be more descriptive, I was saying it’s better then last year’s... not other events and seasons...
EDIT 2: Swapped the Topic Title to be more what I was trying to say :)

It'd be difficult to make GG worse than last year unless Bungie shipped it severely bugged or flat out stop caring about making it good. That said, I do enjoy the improvements they've made to it. The class competition itself is still dubious, but it's better than it was last year.

1 返信Playing guardian games is kind of like watching paint dry for a couple of hours, then realizing that the paint was dry all along.

3 通の返信It's better than last year, but i think the event armor should be available outside Everversum. 15€/$ for a single armor set is quite expensive.

4 通の返信The laurel drops are better but the event itself isn't. Its still a bounty grind. You play the same activities you normally play anyway so nothing new there and the contender cards are literally a bounty for a medal so again, nothing different. Small changes haven't made the overall event more fun or engaging imo and it like the dawning and festival of the lost might as well be scrapped entirely unless Bungie plan on adding real content to them.

2 通の返信Participation is gonna be the same high at first till people get the catalyst or gun then its gonna drop

Its simpler to participate without bothering but as an event to commit dedicated time to its crap as he'll I've done everything this season so doing more of it in any sort of competitive fashion is a no no

They can attempt to balance out the classes depending on population size, but that obviously didn't work out last time. Now I truly believe that hunters will win because of the population difference Bungie mentioned last time. I'm not trying to be the typical angry titan, but i'm just saying I didn't take the games seriously last time, and I wont now. Anybody who does has a strange sense of self-importance, and the class disparaging just makes the community angry for no reason, like when hunters lost last year and were angry to the point where their salt was mentioned in a TWAB.
Also, the fact that Bungie constantly gets their math wrong during events like these does not help.
2 通の返信It's better becoz you can get the exotic and catalyst the first day, and go back doing what you like. It's worst becoz participation is going to drop fast.

1 返信could care less who wins this is just a seasonal event intended to bring up gameplay participation when it is slowing down bunch of extra grinds revolving around repeating the exact same stuff for rewards that are 90%+ worthless overall it is just slightly more rewards for stuff you were already doing and if you come back right now you'll have a somewhat faster gearing experience because of increased rewards but it still comes to a screeching halt at the hard cap that said, destiny does this stuff better than any other game I've played of this type and I have no plans to stop playing
