Hunter looks bleh too. Best hunter sets in d2 in my opinion are; Exile Suit, Celestial Suit, Moonfang Suit, and that’s it. Everything else looks like it was designed by a 6 year old. D1 armor had grit, and felt like it was cobbled together from your opponents gear. It felt apocalyptic, worn, scrappy but also a sense of symmetry and nobility to it. Not to mention the AMAZING enemy themed gear. The Kings Fall gear that was made from the bones of the hive, the Vault of Glass gear that was made from the frames of the vex, Prison of Elders gear taken from fallen. I mean, D1 gear was AWESOME. D2 day one had nice gear. Cause it was new. But it just went downhill. The ninja look was cool for the hunters in the beginning, but it’s getting old. So is the Samurai theme for Iron Banner. That was a unique take on the armor, and fun for two or three seasons, but it’s been TWO YEARS since we’ve had a new Iron Banner set. Remember when we looked like Knights? Remember when we looked like flaming Vikings? Now we look like we’re wearing cheap plastic armor. The more recent Iron Banner sets have been the worst. The worst part? The best looking gear in the game is locked behind eververse. I didn’t even have to type eververse, it just automatically suggested that after I typed “locked behind” I’ve typed that so much...Oh you want to look cool? Spend 6,000 bright dust. What’s that? You don’t have the time to grind out bright dust every single day for three months cause you have a life? No worries! Just pay $20.00 for it! Rant over.
