He’s a good guy and has managed to find a niche with these videos but I’m certain the ideas he brings to the table have already been thought about by Bungie.
All his suggestions I don’t agree with and he even admits he is not a developer. I think everything with this game comes down to time and resource management. In a ideal world, everyone would want a game like he suggests but it’s just not realistically obtainable.

Vendor updates take personnel and time - those are the assets that are lacking. Not vision. They even stated this in the past specifically regarding vendor updates. I’m certain Bungie know that we want this.

I’ll be the first to defend Bungie about allocation of resources. I’m not talking about the more ambitious parts of kujay’s ideas. I’m literally talking about using the templates and systems already in game to make vendors on planets relevant again. The art assets are there because we can interact with those vendors now.... They literally could apply the template they used for drifter and shaxx to every planetary vendor without changing a single art asset other than the menu in their interface. Make the rewards less valuable materials wise. Rotate one or two planetary specific weapon with random rolls through during a season in their rewards instead of shards and prisms.

I’m not saying I don’t like his videos or ideas but that Bungie knows everything he is saying and have chosen to use the time and resources needed to do those things in other areas. Kujay even admits he is not a game developer and neither am I but I am certain Bungie has said all these ideas in internal meetings and have chosen other paths. I don’t agree with all those paths and would love to see some of these things implemented. I am just saying that as entertaining as Kujay’s videos are (and I hope they continue) Bungie already knows all this.

I didn’t even know anything about kujay until a couple of weeks ago. His vids are pretty entertaining. I agree with you and at the same time I doubt all of them have been discussed at Bungie. If their management structure is anything like others I’ve experienced... people in management tend to get tunnel vision. But like you I’m not a game dev so I don’t really know what their teams actually do.
