It's awful. Even freelance
This game isn't about gunplay anymore.
It's about who can get the best weapons in endgame and roll over people.
There's no fun to be had at all anymore.

Steady Hand and Felwinters Lie are easily obtained by all players, Astral, Messenger, and the trials Hand Cannon are not measurably better. Vigilance Wing, Crimson, and The Last Word still wreck, not to mention Dead Man’s Hand.

Especially in trials players hands.

Especially in trials players hands.[/quote] LoL you do NOT have to use trials weapons to do well. I’ve used nothing but Palindrome for this entire banner. Even on the “larger” maps like Widows, Alter, Midtown, Fortress and Radiant Cliffs. All have long lanes where 120s dominate. You have to adapt to the weapons strengths. Not play into its weaknesses.

Why does my response matter? Because the statement, People “using endgame weapons to roll others over” is simply not reflected in reality. I’m not here to question why you say that, I came to say why it’s not that way. It’s not an endgame meta gun roll fest because almost, if not every viable PVP weapon is easily obtained by all players, which I think is a good thing. Hell, If you didn’t know this, you can obtain the igneous hammer from I believe the sixth or seventh week of the seasonal challenges. Also depending on the weekly trials bounty, you can play and complete matches and get the bounty done even if you lose. Good luck, hope a different perspective and some tips make your time better in the crucible.

Usage Numbers yes, I’m kind of busy right now so I’m not able to provide links for the deep dive analysis on true prophecy or steady hand, but the fact of the matter is the damage numbers and time to kill do not lie. in some cases depending on the role true prophecy is actually better than both of them, these are obtainable by all players. I understand that you feel that it is not fair, and maybe if we’re having the argument that it’s not fair that they have guns that you don’t have, that’s a different argument. But based on hard numbers and math, true prophecy and steady hand are just as good. Vigilant swing is 100% better, in both statistics and gameplay than the messenger. Based on that I would say that it is completely fair.

My experience tells me that I can't compete again the Trials weapons even with a good rolled Steady hand that I perform well with against other average at slightly above players. Another reason why I hate cbmm. I shouldn't be playing against trials players.

I shouldn't have to deal with Trials level players unless I choose to go into Trials. When trials level players are good with their trials level weapons, it’s not fair to the rest of us

Look I’m not going to argue with you on it. I’m just speaking from personal experience on the matter. It’s not about the weapon always. Sometimes it’s legitimately the player. Being even slightly annoyed can really screw up your shot. LoL you can attest for that in my case, as you’ve played with me in both cases. Ehh I don’t have a dog in this. Just saying what could be going on on top of the skill based stuff.

I get it and I appreciate the feedback and I'm not going to say I don't have off matches or even moments. However for me, in my own personal experience, the overwhelming feeling is regardless the Trials weapons trump most others. They by far have the most forgiving perks for a highly skilled player. I neve said they don't deserve them. I just have no desire to play against them unless I choose to do so.

Or theirs has a proc’ed damage bonus and his doesn’t. This is simply a poorly tuned game. I just got killed at Wirmhaven by a shotgun rusher who came from that bridge and was able to close the gap to the door on the right before o could kill him with a primary. That’s stupid.

I can’t say you did or didn’t. I’m just giving you the most likely scenario as to why you did not take the guy out in an ample timeframe before he closed the gap. All it takes is a miss on a HS, and your just done, esp with a 120. But as I said, without seeing gameplay from your POV, I cannot say what happened for sure. Lol on the Ice Capades Titans. Stasis really has ruined PvP for me. I just can’t be bothered to play PvP anymore because of it. Hence my low playtime.
