ToO jumping off maps
Just want to get a consensus on the community’s feeling in jumping off map to complete bounties in Trials of Osiris. I myself have never done it (haven’t even played Trials since returning). But is this practice frown upon?

Jump and don't care what others think. As the match begins you can tell whether or not you have a chance by examining the loadout of the enemy and their armor config. If it looks like you have a chance of winning rounds, then engage them. If not, then jump immediately.

Im down for it. I find it bull that they put good weapons behind a gamemode that has many problems. When auto got buff, I wanted the summoner but I couldn't get it due to it being behind trails. Another was it was solar that wasn't rapid or precision since those 2 aren't worth using sometimes. Bungie needs to allow all players to have good loot not just selected players. In my opinion

Anyone who thinks it is a problem and frowns upon it needs to get their priorities straight. There are such bigger problems with trials than people finding a way to get the 3 win reward without playing or hurting anyone.

Personally I wish people would recognize their own potential and try improving in skill to increase trials population. But at the end of the day if you're gonna jump well at least you're not hurting anyone else's experience

I played Trials last weekend for the first time since D1 I think and that was just to get the bounty and such for a couple of the hand cannons. The guys I played with wanted to try because, well we might end up against 7 teams of suiciders and get an easy flawless so why not? But honestly if they'd wanted to jump off for it, I'd have done it. Bungie never learn, I fondly remember one of the Valentines events in D1 where a friend and I spent the whole day jumping off the maps. We got so much loot, ah how I miss my Chocolate ghost shell. So what the hell, go for it. It will eventually force Bungo to put some actual effort in and make Trials the competitive mode it should be and not make Triumphs and easy bounties to suck in chancers and casuals that ruin it for the players who genuinely want to test themselves against the best.

Trials is a dumpster fire. The loot system is bad. Errors and cheaters can cause unfair losses on your card, etc. Anyone who “frowns on” players for wanting to bypass a problematic mode doesn’t know any better.

7 通の返信Yes and no. From my perspective I want to play the Match instead of playing "find the other team before they jump off". It's anoying and to be honest, a waste of my time.
