After the “big Stasis nerf”, 90% of players are still using Stasis in PvP. I’m still having to approach every single engagement with the primary focus of not being slowed or frozen. Still can’t pull my primary out within 20 meters of a Titan. Still have to sit on the edge of the map when someone on the enemy team uses Silence and Squall.
The worst thing to ever happen to Crucible rages on with no end in sight. I’ve wondered for a while now whether Destiny’s PvP will ever be fun again. Every day this continues, I see that as less of a possibility.
A small tuning here and there isn’t good enough. At this rate, the other 9 subclasses in the game may be usable in roughly 2-3 years. Massive mistakes like Stasis require massive changes to fix.
Ready to admit you -blam!-ed up yet and disable this shit until a fundamental re-work can be done?

5 通の返信Me personally I’ve found the changes very noticeable, just not significant enough. As far as individual abilities and aspects go, I think the three subclasses are in a pretty good spot now. The issue is that what Bungie didn’t address - Slow and Freeze - were the biggest issues in the first place. Call this a hot take if you want, but here’s some changes I think would help bring these two in line. Slow; - Only reduces movement speed and jump height, working in a similar fashion to say the smoke abilities for top tree nightstalker. Doesn’t punish any aspect of weapon functionality in any way, only player mobility. Freeze; - Acts similarly to how Freeze works in PvE against boss combatants. Any guardian that is frozen has their mobility reduced to equate Slow x10 instead pf being completely frozen in place, and instead simply becomes “marked” as frozen, enabling them to be shattered. - When in a light super, you can be slowed up to and including Slow x10 (or ig x100 now), but you cannot be frozen EXCEPT by the revenant and shadebinder supers. Behemoth can no longer freeze other supers, and all Stasis neutral game abilities can’t freeze a Light super. Add that on to the changes we’ve already received, and I think stasis would be in a pretty good spot

7 通の返信Did you expect everyone to change right away? You gotta wait for youtube to tell the masses what the new meta is if it's changed. You think the majority of the community makes choices for themselves?
-
It's far easier to outplay stasis now than ever. The best change is that Duskfields don't suck your soul through 8 dimensions anymore. The slow nerfs have pretty much neutered Hunters. And Glacial Quake only lasts a 3rd of what it did. If you can't play around stasis now, I'm sorry, but you're just bad at the game 😂
-
I mean if it isn't stasis, it's for sure going to be another 6 years of hand cannon meta that can have the ability to 2 tap you from ranges that exceed pulse rifles, while being able to peek shoot. In conjunction with shotguns like felwinters, where players can essentially zip across the map at high speeds and one tap you at ranges faster than many players can react. If that wasn't the case you wouldn't see so many people say stuff about the gun being busted. It's also why you see those guys apeing across wide open spaces with only a shotgun in hand care free and still perform well. Then there's another issue of that extremely vocal group of people who abuse any meta since it's the easiest to use, even if they themselves complain about it. ("I have to use these weapons because nothing else works") Then yell even more when it gets nerfed into the dirt, or something else should dare take it's place and they can't use that same playstyle now. Changing playstyle or meta isn't an option

1 返信Agreed. They’ve taken the “shooter” out of a first person shooter. Stasis ability spam has broken pvp. If they ever create a non stasis playlist, that’s all I would play. Unfortunately no nerf will ever be enough.

2 通の返信Slow and Freeze have not changed. Stasis is still OP. It's a start, but it won't change anything yet.

12 通の返信As a titan, I'll be first to admit that behemoth class is still incredibly busted. I can still abuse people with shattering my grenade and slide freeze. One grenade + slide is enough to wipe and entire team standing inside a wall of radiance. My super can still go cross map to wipe a whole team. I don't see how Bungie can possibly fix it without just nerfing it into the ground to be honest. Freezing abilities were a mistake and should have never been brought to PVP.
-
I've said this plenty times they're nothing bungie can do with stasis that will make it balance. No one like to be frozen and be unable to fight back in a pvp matches. As I said before just remove it from pvp and make it more powerful in pve.

Crucible is just utter garbage... I left 6 months ago or more who knows... But sunsetting weapons and armour that takes thousands of hours to get was the end of the light be for me and then to try and come back again to this... Crap I don't even have the words for what they have done to crucible

gangman99により編集済み: 3/26/2021 7:59:47 PMThe stasis classes are fine in pvp. The light subclasses are just too undeveloped compared to stasis. Most *light subclasses need a redesign (preferably into something similar to how customizable stasis is). If each subclass/class was created similar to how the three stasis subclasses were created (warlock freezing, titan shattering, hunter slowing) they could be balanced and offer a fresh feel to the game. But bungie doesn’t have the man power to do all that right now. Maybe by witchqueen will get tangible balance instead straight stasis nerfs

1 返信I am still impressed by that weird „hunters can fly“ ability.. looks like in the cheat videos but I think that’s a normal skill . Ah yes and those 30 seconds duration ice Tornados that roam the map long after the hunter us dead .. what is that ??

Until something is done about the effectiveness and potency of slow, it won't change. The debuff just hinders players in so many different ways, way more than it should, it's just the best option in the game. It should not be as good and have all of the effects it has. At the VERY LEAST, the accuracy debuff needs to be removed.

4 通の返信I’m definitely seeing more Golden Guns, Dawnblades, nova bombs, and hammers this week. Having a blast playing Arcstrider myself in fact. I tried Shadebinder again and the lack of an easy shatter ability puts it even further behind the rest now that Duskfields are so much weaker. Give it a bit more time, the bulk of players who aren’t reading patch notes will take a bit longer to switch. Except behemoths probably, that still feels S-tier.

2 通の返信Doesn’t matter anyway now that we’re back to the hand cannon/sliding shotgun meta. Yay. So much fun. 🙄

I’m an outlier, haven’t even used stasis once this season. I main void hunter, bottom tree, void titan shields! And arc warlock for arc buddies, I do all my own builds and don’t really look to the youtubers for info except eso for locations now and again. I switch up my load outs and even bring plenty of sunset stuff into casual because I get bored running the same loadout. Only one weapon has my good forever graces and that’s Polaris lance!

It's because crowd control as an ability is too strong in a non-crowd control based game. I mentioned it forever ago that they made something that broke PvP and was only okay in PvE. Seems like they're choosing PvE

Main problem is that stasis shouldn’t have been nerfed until they made a grand effort to revamp the old classes to some extent. Stasis, at its core, is just better than light classes, and no amount of nerfing is gonna fix that. It is more fun to use for reasons that go beyond the concept of freezing people — stasis has more movement options and/or ways to fine-tune how your abilities work. The only class in the game that has a remotely similar feeling is dawnblade, specifically for the air dash and shooting while gliding, it changes how the game is played... and it still needs some degree of flexibility to be added to it. If the warlock shadebinder had improved movement options like revenant and behemoth, top dawnblade would be non-existent in pvp. Lots could be done to boost light-based classes, like giving a flash-bang effect to smoke bombs, or incendiary grenades could leave flames on the ground like jotunn, maybe even add a slowing effect to flux grenades that works similarly to arc shanks for a short duration... but the only thing that will get players to use light based classes is some form of enhanced mobility, or something that makes them uniquely effective at something other than just straight damage. Until light based classes can do something as unique as make its own platform on a wall that gives them damage resistance for standing on it, nobody is gonna switch back except out of spite, pride, or protest. Stasis classes are very cool conceptually, too. So there is that as well :P

2 通の返信Stasis is paid super power of D2. It's like peanut butter and jelly on dough and bread maker of game. Hehe. The other super power heroes of the game is free and don't make dough for bread maker. They love dough and milk good for stasis. Snow and ice stays for now. Milk and dough go together. Hehe. Nerf to stasis now because game not growing no more. Same kids playing seesaw bullets up and down guns going nowhere. Only maybe few new light kids on the block try and buy stasis super hero and join seesaw playground. So can't kill stasis super power now because milk and dough. When new super power hero comes next year will be new jam for bread maker and milk will flow again. Hehe.
