SIVA is not bonded to either light or dark.
It is technically somewhere in the middle.
As it is a result of the machinations of mankind.
And Humans are capable of wielding both.
Otherwise since it is technology, you could argue that it has no alliance to anything, and it is only a tool.

I know, but Light and Dark can be imbued into objects, such as weapons or armor. Guardians do it literally all the time, just on a small scale. So theoretically, it would be possible to do the same with Siva nanites.
