Hello there,
Hope you are doing well.
Why was it decided to add a GM Strike completion to seasonal challenges, considering that up until this very point all challenges were very much doable by most of the D2 community.
Now, it just seems that people like me, who does not have a fireteam (yes, I can look for LFG, but I'm an introvert and I do not communicate easily with people I don't know) to be locked out of final reward.
Everyone knows GM is Pinnacle PvE requiring you to have a very solid fireteam knowing in's and out's of the game and while indeed being a Challenge, I consider it to be completely unfair to have it included in seasonal path.
GM Strike on it's own HAS rewards that people like me are not gonna get and I'm completely okay with that. Then why on earth are you locking me out at least from the seasonal path?
Apologies for rant and thank you for understanding.
Kind regards,
G-Man

5 通の返信They might as well have made it the raid. At least the raid can be done in and hour even for new players. Just spent 2.5 hours trying GM have not made it past the spider tank.

1 返信With that attitude it sounds like you’re locking yourself out. Leave your comfort zone and enter your growth zone.

If I remember correctly the overall season has 78 challenges and you only have to complete 75 to complete it. You should be not doing it. Just a heads up, I think there's a 'get 5 or 10 wins in Trials' one coming up in a week or two.

3 通の返信There will be more than 75 challenges to complete when every week is unveiled. Not everything in this game should be a cakewalk. Some challenges should push you out of your comfort zone. Put on your big boy pants, find a clan, LFG, or a lesser-known streamer channel and ask for help with a GM run. You can do it.

5 通の返信What does the word challenge mean to you? Because up until now they've been a cake walk.

Because of this, they made the final Bright Dust reward only require 75 of 77 Seasonal Challenges. Having a single Seasonal Challenge for doing a GM Nightfall is perfectly fine, and I'm sure we'll get another challenge in a week or so to go Flawless in Trials. I'm assuming it was their intention that these two Challenges would not be obtainable for all players, which is why they made the final BD bundle require all but 2 Seasonal Challenges. Overall, I'm really liking the new system, it is a more natural progression than the Bounty grind. The XP given from challenges is also extremely generous. Last week I had a 4x XP challenge done by default, turned it in, and got 4 whole levels complete instantly, granted it was with the Well Rested buff, but essentially that gave the same amount of XP of about 12 Weekly Bounties.

2 通の返信Just wait till Fallen saber lands with the risk runner strategy and good positioning in boss room that could easily be done at 1320 at a push 1315 x 3 Surely you could have a 1315 build ready by the end of the season even with 1 or 2 hours a day gametime

4 通の返信IronHatchettにより編集済み: 3/17/2021 5:49:49 PMThe final seasonal reward requires 75/77 weekly challenge completions. This challenge can be skipped and you will not be locked out of the final reward, as long as 75 total are completed. The Sepiks GM is not as bad as people may think and may also be the easiest of the GM's this season. I put up a post of tips to help people out, if you're 1325 I highly recommend giving it a shot. Great rewards for completion and if you do complete it then you still have 2 challenges you can skip later on in the season. Also, all GM's will be available the last week of the season so if you're not high enough power now, you can always give it another go in the last week. Best of luck mate, practice and I'm sure you'll get it done.

But this one is step too far. I'm not wasting time on a GM Nightfall for a bit of Bright Dust. I'm only at 1320 anyways so I don't think I can even enter one. Oh well, no big deal, other than that undone challenge will be mocking me...

3 通の返信Weekly challenges were to replace the bounty grind. The bounty grind never required a raid or a stupid GM night fall.

I hear this complaint for sure. The thing is, I would have a problem with it too, as would a good chunk of the community, if the final seasonal reward were something unique, meaningful, and unobtainable by other means. But its literally just bright dust, which I have 30,000 of and don't care at all.

1 返信I completed grandmaster I think maybe 10 times today, and I never completed one beforehand. If you think this is bad, wait for the trials on next week, because I think there’s a challenge requiring trials round wins. I won’t participate in that, even with it being easier, just because I promised myself not to screw over legitimate trials players, and I’m fine with never getting the challenge.
