Or if you won’t bring the range and hitboxes down give things like smgs and sidearms a smal range boost and a decent damage boost so the have a base .5 ttk

11 通の返信120s are op af. I feel like the rest are in a good spot... outside of pali, hawkmoon and ace of spades. Sunshot is a prime example of the small hit box/low aim assist... as in not many players use it and if they are(on pc) it is a good sign of an aimbot user. However... perks are getting focused on.. specifically stability. A good auto/smg with the right stability/recoil control melts. A majority of players focus on kill perks and then complain. If you need consistency on your weapon/s of choice... make sure stability is one of those perks/master work. Saying that.. bungie over committed to the 120 rpm hand cannons It will be another season before being addressed if it is at all. The grind for bottom dollar is so much of a players time that it will not be adjusted. Then the trials hand cannon is bringing players into trials and players are paying too dollar for recoves. High rpm auto rifles/smg’s with high cal rounds give you a chance... but 90% of 120rpm hand cannon users then have a shotgun as their back up... so 🤷🏻♀️ You are right... especially focusing on the 120rpm meta.. but we are going to be dealing with it for a while. Just to get your mindset ready.. it will most likely last till the 2022 dlc.

Bungie literally removes the skill gap from everything...on purpose. Your only valid point is about range. And even that should only pertain to 120’s. Everything else is fine.

2 通の返信I dont really mind if hand cannons are the best guns, theyre the most fun guns because of peek shooting, shooting in the air etc. Arguing for a skillgap in this game is pointless its basically an arcade game

7 通の返信120s are definitely a problem but every other type of hand cannon is fine. If anything 140s need a bit of a buff. SMGs are in a really good spot too, if they got any buff they would be extremely dominant. Also, hand cannons are definitely one of the hardest primaries to use. Flicking aim has been proven harder to learn than tracking aim.

And not just damage drop off range, I’m talking effective range at which you can spam crits. How/why is that even possible??? With huge aim assist across the board,this makes them a broken weapon. There is no downside to a 120/140 from 0-35/40m. Then how about being about the ability to 0.5s ttk 2 tap with even the slightest of damage buffs. Sure autos and pulses can be speced to hit at 40m+, but they are useless below 20/25m (in pvp), unless you are hip firing, due to scope zoom. There is a clear trade off.
