Just saying maybe a quest for a weapon that is clearly meant for pve, a bow, which is not viable in any way in crucible, shouldn’t require crucible kills. It’s not a weapon like thorn, and they know people hate crucible steps because there’s posts every time an exotic quest requires it. Or at the least give a choice like they did for adored and the new GL. You don’t have to play any specific activity for those, you can play it your way. You know cause this weapon is a god damn bow and not meant to be used in crucible. Yeah you can suck it

"wasn't thought out well" When the track record of Bungie bringing all aspects of the game into quest steps has been consistent. Bows are one of the most viable weapons in PvP. You just aren't capable of using it apparently. That being said, all you left was your personal feelings. Not feedback. Feedback is for how can Bungie do things better next time, not to completely eliminate the point of the game because someone isn't up to the task. That's why if you fail any one of the timed exotic quests, that's on you.

Why can I count on one hand the number of times outside this quest I’ve seen a bow be used that isn’t le monarque Feedback is anything. This quest is unenjoyable is feedback. The iron banner heavy kills was annoying and people said so cause it was not thought out well and they listened. Literally the best solution is to do it like the adored and salvo quests. Or just to not require crucible for an ad clear weapon, and require it for weapons that are more tailored to crucible.

Didn’t at any point say oh leave your feedback on how viable bows are in the meta. All I said is bows are a sub optimal type of weapon. Because that’s a fact. So are 450 autos, linear fusions, 150 scouts. That’s not a try to convince me they’re good weapons. Because it’s just not true. A bad gun is a bad gun just because you use it does not make it a good option they’re not a viable choice. You can use them but they are statistically bad

Id take a bow over any scout beside the dead mans take any day. And no matter how you feel about bows. Its 13 kills. If you cant get 13 kills with a bow idk what your doing. Just go okay a few games and get the kills. In the time it took you to make this thread and reply to it you couldve already done the 13 kills.

It’s like a scale. 180s are even lower because they require like 4 shots to kill. And bows are one of the lowest because draw time and projectile speed is a huge weakness when someone can just tap tap tap and you’re dead while you have to peek shot between cover while drawing and trumping to hit that perfect shot each time immediately after drawing. They are bad weapons. I didn’t say unusable but they are bad. You really are annoying. Trying to redefine meta and replying to almost all my responses even to other people

Im not trying to redefine meta. You clearly cant read. I said just because a gun isnt the meta doesnt mean its bad. 120s are the meta. 140s are not. But 140s are not bad guns. Bows are not “bad” they are not as good as 120 hand cannons but they are still good. People here recommend them for battling against 120s. Again. You just need to learn how to use them. And dont say you know how to use them because if you did youd have the catalyst in about 2 games at most.

Maybe just stop -blam!-ing replying youre god damn annoying DROP IT if this was Reddit I’d delete the thread cause I’m tiered of your ass and that bray too “everyone” literally 2 people who don’t know how to shut up because someone dares to say bows aren’t good weapons maybe this quest should have had more player agency because that’s something you do now with seasonal quests.
