Stasis is ruining pvp for all players
Hello, I am a fairly new player, joined 24 days before season of the hunt ended, the first time i stepped into the crucible I got CRUSHED, not crushed, actually, I got shattered multiple times. The problem with stasis is the freezing ability, I'm fine with freezing if it is for supers but NOT FOR ALL ABILITIES and stasis is a NIGHTMARE for free to play players, and even though I never played trials, the videos I've seen scare me, its as if f2p players will never win trials. Please do something about stasis, like make it free for all players or separate stasis players from non-stasis players so that we can play against players who do not use hacker level kind of gear. Please make pvp easier and just my opinion: Trials should be completely based on how good you are with a gun, not the abilities whch you can use meaning basically only gunfights in trials without special abilities. Thank you

1 返信Yeah it isnt really good for anyone and doesnt contribute anything to the game. Bad players get some evening out with good players since they have easy cheesy abilities but the good players will be able to use them better so it doesnt work in the end. Bad players still lose to good players but now the good players have these super strong abilities that are ridiculous. No one wants this and no one is enjoying crucible more with stasis.

PVP in general is trash right now. Ability, shotgun all freaking day. Dont like being mercied? Here's 20 of them. Want good team mates? Watch your team mates fail to rise above a 0.30 KD that stand in spawn and do nothing. Hey, remember those annoying Taken enemies that teleport every millisecond? How about the enemy team in crucible doing that too. This is the Hell that is Destiny 2 PvP.

3 通の返信First, welcome guardian. 👍 Stasis is busted in crucible. It is obnoxious to play against. The little I play PvP at this point, I’ll either back out if more than 2 people are running stasis on the opposing team, esp hunters and titans, or just put my controller down each and every time I’m frozen. It’s just disrupted PvP way too much. But by all means, you do not have to take my word for it. Judge it on your own experiences. Anyway, good luck and enjoy the game. 👍

Ya I did like 20 games of crucible the other day, mostly comp, and I was not in a game that didn’t have stasis in it, if I didn’t have it I would be crushed, unless I used cheese weapons like the chaperone

1 返信Don't worry, when you go into titan slam and get frozen by a withering blade tracking you around a corner; the game is working as intended.

2 通の返信Stasis isn't a problem just for f2p players. It's a problem for all players. It completely ruined the game. Coming back to the forum after sometime away, I also stopped playing the game. I can clearly tell a lot of others have as well. They also stopped coming to the forums. Cause all the feedback up votes are all super low. I never seen this before since I started coming here month 1 when D1 was released. Bungie killed the game. It's been bad for years though, with slight potential. It kept players around.. But once stasis was added, I think it killed off the majority of the long time fan base.

1 返信Stasis officially made Destiny 2 a “Pay to have an advantage over others” game. It should have been free for everyone who completed the first free mission of Beyond Light.

1 返信its that everytime u enter a gunfight the persons first thing to do is spam abilities instead of shoot which is a problem for a fps

8 通の返信Not all of Stasis is broken. Shadebinder is very fair and not OP at all for example. If I freeze you with Penumbral Blast I literally can't kill you unless I'm hugging you in melee range or have Special Ammo. Freezy Pop Rift is garbage, and Winters Wrath is slow and easily avoided. The most broken things in Stasis are: • Duskfield Grenades. • Shatterdive and its damage reduction. • Withering Blade which has no reason at all to deal 90 damage that can turn corners and slow you. • Silence and Squall's radius and cast speed. • Glacial Quake which turns Titans into a Raid Boss encounter. Once these are addressed, Stasis will be in a good place...until broken new aspects and fragments are added that is.
