It had fantastic gameplay, but was marred by bland environments, a bad loot system and a near total lack of endgame. It was as if EA took a single-player game and ordered Bioware to make it a competitor to Destiny with no afterthought, sending Anthem to its doom. Rest in pepperonis, Anthem. You were an unfortunate symptom of what happens when a corporation becomes too big to fail.
