They are just annoying and take away the enjoyment of a task.
Do you like to be rushed to get somthing done?
How many times have you pushed things back because you couldnt do it in the time allotted to you?
Now what if we did that?
What if you said you needed an extra month or so for the next dlc witch queen and we just said no you have to do it by this time.
Not cool right?
Well that's how it feels everytime you put a timer on somthing that we have to do in order to complete somthing.
Remove timers and stop putting them on things.
Edit: To those that say it's to difficult for me to do that's why I'm complaining. I did it. Guess what? Still think the timer is b.s

They couldn't have set this exotic mission up better. Easy mode for people like you that like to check everything out, and a hard mode so that we can put our builds to work. People will complain about anything.

1 返信Honestly, it sounds like it's upping the difficulty if so many people are complaining about a 25 minute timer for a 20 minute mission.
-
10 通の返信If it’s not difficult, why in the world is everyone complaining. Because it’s not easy enough for you? Everything needs to be easy for the new generation.

5 通の返信Agree. Why is every single boss time gated as well. Every single one goes invincible. Seriously it’s like a one trick pony bungie is using to add “difficulty”. Think of something else Bungie.

2 通の返信In Presage master version timer is set wrongly. You should have boss killed on 23:20 because arriving in the guardian room and end talking take so long that time will tick over 25 mark if boss is killed after.

Jonty28により編集済み: 2/27/2021 2:29:18 AMSo I am now able to 2 man this with around 6-8 minutes left. Am doing Flawless Master carries on Xbox for my Twitch ( https://www.twitch.tv/Jonty28 ) followers to share the love and get people that awesome emblem. Posted about it here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/258411714/0/0 PS. I love the challenge of timed missions. Always will.

I've hated timers since d1, but you know what? I wanted that catalyst so I got two other friends and ran through it, got it done on the 3rd try after figuring out our load outs. it helps to have an invis hunter to run by skreebs to hit switches. plus we were underleveled. you just have to coordinate and keep moving.

1 返信AbseilRにより編集済み: 2/26/2021 7:38:07 AMAlmost every single raid since Destiny 1's launch: enrage mechanic under a timer. Challenges and triumphs: timer. Outbreak Perfected--a MUCH harder mission with so many different things going on and a route/maze that's harder to memorise than the spore mechanic in Pressage: timer. Whisper: Timer. Pressage? Took two failed runs and, finally, one very coordinated, no mic lfg, and we got it done with six minutes to spare, with me being at only at 1301 light. Got it done with six minutes to spare. The mission itself isn't difficult, I think most everyone can agree. Play smart, don't be greedy for damage (Captains and Abominations, listen out for scorn spawns (skreebs suck), and for the love of god , don't be in melee/fire lunge range of the boss. Know the route up to the end, coordinate activating the switches (can shave off a precious few seconds rather than everyone running to one switch only to double back and forth), etcetera. This particular mission seems like the type of endgame that is actually in reach for anyone who at least plays casually enough to get to 1300. The timer only makes an emphasis on smart plays and to really make your knowledge of the route and precision jumping shine. Ps (because this happened on my first two failed runs with the two randoms I did it with): Your Igneous Hammer/Felwinter's and Steady Hands aren't the best for this mission unless you really want to go toe to toe with these beefy enemies at short range. Pps: Don't let the boss get within melee range of you. Ppps: Don't let the boss get within melee range of you. Edit: The complaints about the timer are honestly just getting hilarious at this point. Loads of players complain about there being lack of content, or that things are too easy as they blow through everything, but as soon as something has a *modicum* of difficulty that doesn't seem to have a cheese (as of yet) or some sort of safety net for an illusion of challenge, they *still* complain.

1 返信KayOsS882により編集済み: 2/26/2021 8:17:43 AMIf you memorize all the puzzles to open the doors, you’re Golden. But again, destiny players will find something to complain about. The game is too challenging, the game is too easy, why do we need to do that, why do you remove that, nerf this, buff that, make this, release that, etc. sheesh. Endless whining.

I'm working on gitten gudder. That timer sends me to orbit every time. Tried the same loadout as the guy in the presage master solo, and I was with a fireteam, and still got spanked. Does the computer version have less hit points? His enemies melted and mine were bricks. Crazy how youtubers can do things like that. Like I said, I will get gud eventually or I will vault dead man's tale.

1 返信Anytime I see a mission... in any video game... with a timer I'm just like, "pass". No thanks. I'm here to have fun. I have enough deadlines and timelines IRL. Maybe little kids with no real life responsibilities or obligations enjoy this because it makes them feel, "accomplished". Want to feel accomplished? Go learn a foreign language or get your quarter mile time under 50 seconds. I play this game to sit on my butt and press buttons. PS... EVERYONE who plays this game is sitting on their butt and pressing buttons ;)

For me timers absolutely have to be in a game like Destiny. The content is too easy mainly because the AI in this game are basic. If you have infinite time to do something in Destiny; it’s impossible to fail. Imagine how easy Zero Hour or The Whisper would’ve been without that little timer telling you to get a move on. Every one and the grandma would be able to beat a GM NF if there wasn’t a point where you can’t die anymore. Imagine Shuro Chi without a clock 😂 They’re needed dude.

1 返信Of all the things to complain about and y’all complain about a timed mission that really is not that hard as long as you’re not stupid and coordinate with your team? No wonder Bungie doesn’t listen to the community....

1 返信Well said. It's like having to write a long exam, when you know the material, but just don't have the time to finish it -- just adds to the annoyance of the exam in the first place! Not a great analogy I know, but I just hate the timer aspect on things...
