Yup.. console is a lot better. Honestly I would play on Xbox because the filesystem is encrypted and aside from Cronus Max cheating on Xbox is nearly impossible because the actual game files and file system are completely encrypted so it's nearly impossible to reverse engineer it and inject cheating code into memory processes like they can on PC. I used to play PvP on Xbox and PvE on PC but the problem was Xbox One 30fps is not really pretty especially going back and forth between that and PC. I'm waiting for Xbox Series X or PS5 to get so since they are nearly impossible to get now, so I can play on that but the problem is Crossplay will make that moot and they will most likely not have an option to opt out. So cheating will be everyone's problem soon enough.
