This one actually looks really interesting. Like you, I'm not a big fan of point and click adventure games. Silence is pretty good though, and Grim Fandango looks great from the early parts I've seen.

Yeah, I can’t really see the appeal in most point & click games. It feels so clunky to explore a place by just clicking on things rather than moving around with a control stick. But Tangle Tower gets around that issue by letting you simply select what room you want to go to, and clicking on things doesn’t move you around, but rather prompts your character to investigate whatever you clicked on. And I have to admit the formula lends itself wonderfully to a detective game. Being able to poke around an investigate anything & everything makes it feel like you’re actually looking around, and not just being guided towards the important bits.

The ones I've played you do use the control stick. Have you played Return of the Obra Dinn? (Not sure about spelling.) I don't really play detective games but that one is supposed to be the very best of the genre.
Oh maybe I've got the genre wrong then. The ones I've played you do use the control stick.
Maybe modern ones fix that. I know in the older ones you just click where you want your character move. Although, I can’t imagine how one would work where you move around with a control stick. >.>
Yeah it does sound perfect for that. Have you played Return of the Obra Dinn? I remember thinking it looked really neat, and had considered picking it up. But, I kept forgetting about it and never actually did. :p

Press (A) to interact with various things.
I haven’t, but I’ve heard of it. I remember thinking it looked really neat, and had considered picking it up.
