Bungie, what’s the point of having any other weapons besides hc’s and shotguns if you want to win because scouts, pulses are so much weaker. You were afraid to give scouts a buff because they would be to op so instead you Mack hc’s which are supposed to be mid range so op they now outgun and pulse or scout from across the map! IB is nothing but Steady Hand and Hawkmoon/ Felwinters or Seventh Seraph shotgun. Getting two tapped before I can pull off a third shot with any pulse or scout is bs. Then you have players just doing laps or crouching with shotgun the gun entire game and able to pull off 40+ kills with it. If you keep this meta buff 600rpm autos back to where they were and give damage buffs to pulse rifles and scouts and smg’s and sidearms to counter shotgun range and fast player movement.

3 通の返信All I really use is a Scout and It's in a pretty great state at the moment. Especially the Jade Rabbit.. I honestly think that Scouts a bit OP in pvp in the right hands.

2 通の返信Im glad 120s finally get to shine. Its a hand cannon. It should have range. The issue is the maps are small so scouts cant play their long range. Scouts also need to have their zoom toned down. Other than that they are already lazers. The main thing with a scout is you have to play your lanes and pace more. You cannot charge in you will often lose. The exception is the Mida. It does well at all ranges. Just dont miss and you can flinch people to hell. I would mainly love a pve buff for them.

2 通の返信Scouts are fine if not slightly under but pulses do not need a buff. If you need any evidence, pull a claws of the wolf out of your vault and spend one game with it. Just saying.

8 通の返信340 pulse rifles are 2 tap weapons. 600 autos are still extremely good. 200 and above rpm scouts are pretty decent in the right hands. This might be the most balanced primary weapons have ever been in d2.

6 通の返信Yeah no other weapon can compete with HCs. They need to be fundamentally changed. For one they need to heavily nerf the range or greatly increase the zoom. It's ridiculous that they have incredible range while having very little zoom. The bullet magnetism also needs reduced as well as the flinch caused. The in air accuracy also needs to be reduced considering how bursty the weapon is. I agree that HCs need to be bursty, but they shouldn't be accurate at long range and they should be the least stable weapon because of design alone.

I think maybe they should redesign how weapons in the game work to be more realistic, have Hand Cannons/Sidearms as close range only guns as a last resort, and have your main weapon be a rifle. Give shotguns longer ranges like in real life but remove their scavenger perk and reduce ammo count to two shots per match. Make Hand Cannons have significantly less range and accuracy and higher kick, more like a normal revolver with a high impact, low velocity round. Make rifles have significantly faster bullets, just like in real life, for a high damage, lower impact, armor piercing round good up close but better suited for range. [spoiler]I know, its nothing like Halo, but it would probably be better if it was more like Halo[/spoiler]

13 通の返信I don't think the point is buffing scout and pulses. If you do so, we'll still have problems with autos (example). The problem are hcs and Shotguns. They are extremely imbalanced, extremely powerful. As you've said, hcs can kill you across the map! Meanwhile, I can do nothing with an auto rifle at medium distance!!! Bungie should be worried about balancing shotguns and hcs, not buffing other weapos, which probaby would create more problems.

We need New Maps made for range weapons then we'd have more choices rather than a handcannon and shotty or fusion setup right now all we have is widows court all else is suited for Handcannons and shotguns thats why they seem op to scout and pulse who run around scratch tickle and hide maybe boost movement speed for scout and pulse why not unless we get range maps

Destiny Tracker's top 15 weapons in quick play are all shotguns and hand cannons with the exception of Adored and Gnawing Hunger. Competitive is similar with a few cheese weapons higher up on the scale like Arbelast and Jotuun. Pulses I've found are still fairly decent, it's just hand canons are so good and shot guns are super cheesy. I use a bow, it's pretty hard since I always play solo.

1 返信They don’t need buffing, the maps need to be bigger and hc’s need nerfing. The annoying thing is, is that scouts and pulses are still very good, they just can’t compete in the current meta at all.

7 通の返信There’s a few options that are actually really good right now [b][u]Scout rifles:[/u][/b] MIDA - ol reliable Symmetry - slept on Trustee - amazing True sight - hard hitting [b][u]Pulse Rifles[/u][/b] Outbreak perfected - still my favorite of all time Hailing confusion - this seasons bygones Last perdition - solid Vigilance wing - S tier in trials and counters snipes Sacred provenance - another one that’s slept on The thing with these weapons is that you definitely have to play to their ranges and the forgiveness might not be all that high but once you get really good with timing your shots and precision you can actually dominate handcannons especially on bigger maps like midtown. Try giving these ones a try you might find you like :)

5 通の返信Yes, also Crimson shouldn't have the range that a scout rifle has. Scouts need to be as lethal as 120 HC's but with more range, the RPM is ok on them.

People are asking for nerfs from a company that has been trying to get their balancing right since the last destiny game. I'm not disagreeing with anyone's points. But hand cannons, among many other weapons, have either been good with disgustingly overpowered outliers to being so bad only a few outliers are usable. Is it possible that bungie can find some middle ground?
