Sunsetting Destiny
I've been a loyal Destiny fan since I first played the Beta Destiny1. The game has become a grind and a repetitive chore. Since I don't want to waste any more of my time grinding for weapons that were removed and then reintroduced with different roles, I am sunsetting Destiny2. Thanks for the fun times Bungle but I will no longer be investing money into this game. Good luck.

4 通の返信When Bunyon implemented sunsetting, they also planned their way of communicating to the community. It is clearly depicted by the 4 Ancient proverbial Mystic Apes. The ape symbols being representative of what Bunyon is doing. Here are the symbols and what they mean: 🙈 - Turn a blind eye! 🙊 - Shut the feck up! 🙉 - We are listening. No we are. 100% true. 🐵🖕 - This one is self explanatory.

Here's the thing for me, I WANT to play Destiny. I do. But I'm just not finding the drive for it. I look at my current gear and think to myself, why bother if this is all going to go away, in a seasons or two? Worse, I'm a solo player, so there's not many activities for me (This one is my fault, I admit it. I'm just not a fan of speed running through Strikes, nor do I have the patience for PvP, nor skill for Raids and Dungeons.)

I played since the first one too but after they removed all the planets and such and the light limit I quit almost right away it is best thing you can do :( Unless they add those things back or change sunset I won't be playing it again which I doubt they will. We don't really even have Destiny 2 anyway now because they deleted all of it, like the raid stuff and planets or story. It's basically gone...

2 通の返信4 years later..... I saw the same comments after they did us dirty on Destiny into Destiny 2. And nothing changed. I expect the same now. This will fall on deaf ears and empty hearts.

1 返信I think destiny itself is being "sunsetted" by bungie. Recycling old content has increased at a rate never seen before. Beyond light was the only release by bungie that I just gave up on. The engine and graphics are showing their age on next gen consoles. So they are winding the game down and it's a shame. Still, don't regret playing a single minute of it. Dunno perhaps they might decide to double down on it at some point in the future.

4 通の返信Imagine having access to all raids that dropped relevant gear. All activities and missions in game dropped current light! That would be so much content to choose from. You could grind out anything. Imagine getting a weapon in different elements instead of a determined element. That alone would open up so much content !
