This. Bungie is just propping up this dead horse to fund their development cost on Matter. They hate this game more than the do, and would love to dunk it into the trash can, but they need income revenue. Destiny has been a nightmare to develop because of the engine. Creating small amounts of content creates more bugs than they can handle. The destiny community is crowdfunding "Matter" and is most likely a going to be stinking pile of garbage if their track record is anything to go by.
