Let's see, stupidly hard for a lot of solo players who were crossing their fingers hoping to get the Warden Seal, and it's buggy as hell for anyone (solo or not) who is running it. But on the same day it's released, the Shelter in the Storm bug that has been around for months gets fixed. Hmm, what to fix, an old bug or the ones in the showcase mission for the season...tough decision.
BTW, I can do the final mission. I have three Guardians at 1279 and just about every Exotic weapon there is, and I have some other Seals before. I'm just pointing out that with many of the community already being angry and frustrated with the state of PvP, ongoing bugs, sunsetting, cheating, etc, that a tiny bit of more care and planning would have gone into the final mission before releasing it.
And by the way too, yet another up-yours from Bugnie to players who for whatever reason play solo. Sure, make 17 of the 19 achievements for the Warden Seal achievable solo but then spring it on them at the end of the season that they probably can't get the last two by themselves if they are average players or have no clan, etc. That's a way to encourage player participation - if they are all masochists.
Sigh. This is like watching a team you're rooting for fumble on the 1-yard line when they should get the win.

3 通の返信Bruh, i solod it and it isn't THAT hard except the "Survive" part where you just need to pay it safe and play it smart

37 通の返信I got to the boss fight solo and gave up... It just sums up everything wrong in destiny at the moment.... it was frustrating beyond belief, immunity phases which no one likes then more sheild immunity from those taken... match game, fire spam .. random deaths ....a ridiculous amount of acolyte eyes just felt really really lazy ... I can’t believe it’s from the same people that bought us the outbreak mission... the decline In quality is shocking

3 通の返信I'm a solo and average player with a power level of 1263. I had no chance of completing that mission on my own, so went on to companion app and used Fireteam finder. Have already done that mission few times as fast as 20 minutes I think. You can comment here but cant use a Fireteam finder...

Just asking did you solo the whisper mission or the outbreak perfected missions? This mission is basically the same except instead of having a timer its in the background as a triumph rather than a requirement allowing solo players to do it even if it takes them forever the final boss room it would've been nice to put raid banners down.

2 通の返信Extremely glitchy. "Follow the hawk"? What hawk? Most of the time it wasn't there or was behind a doorway. "Find the shard"? Really? I was looking all over that room for a shard... do they really expect people to remember the first mission that was two months ago well enough to know what the "shard" even is? I sure didn't. I don't go to bed memorizing Destiny quest missions every night. The icon wasn't on any map. I had to find a video again because we only have 3 weeks left to get those triumphs because Bungie. The boss encounters were stupidly designed and 1270 is a troll... I'm 1280 and was still dying in half a second to any yellow bar even with damage reduction mods and 10 resilience. Bottom line is that Bungie is trying to create challenging missions like they used to, but they don't have the people who can do it properly so they mislabel power requirements to create artificial challenge. Remember in D1 when they would actually label light requirements properly so you'd know you were intended to be at a disadvantage? That's called honesty.

As a solo player who returned to destiny, I agree completely. A huge chunk of the community probably won't grind to 1270 or 1280. Clans have been shattered due to bungies bad ideas and poor execution. What's left are clans of hundreds and thousands of people, it's just not the same.

Making an activity hard by ramping up level and modifiers does not make it good. At least in Grandmaster nightfalls you get decent rewards, in this mission you get another exotic hand cannon aimed at PVP, where PVP is poor quality due to p2p, matchmaking....etc.

And again, a stupid decision from Bungie - the mission is more difficult than heroic and without matchmaking. In Destiny 1, the quest for Chaperone included matchmaking, the quest for Sleeper Simulant included matchmaking, in Destiny 2, the quest for Thorn did not include matchmaking, this mission also does not include matchmaking. Why is there a double standard in the studio? Is this a raid that requires special coordination between players in order not to include matchmaking? In my opinion, no, this is not a raid, so why should I look for a team? Just because one not very smart person decided that the lack of matchmaking is normal? Personally, for me, this is not normal, it's like spitting in the face. P.S.: The game design of boss battles in this mission is shit. Nothing changes over the years - the same running around from fat enemies in the round room, I have not yet had time to forget the solo completion of the strike with Kovik in Destiny 1, but here the scale of idiocy is even higher, because you have to rely on the mod for the revolver, which does not work every time. As for the triumph required to obtain the seal - it's just a confirmation of disrespect for the players, just like a rotten cherry on a shitty cake.

1 返信How so? To get the seal, the same time it took you to make the post, you could find a fireteam. The solo things for the mission don't affect the seal, they are just there as rewards for people that want to do that. Seriously, I see people talking about how hard this mission is when it isn't. There is no timer, your loadout isn't locked, and enemies stop spawning when you do certain things. It seems to me that the only ones complaining it's too hard are people struggling to solo it, so their egos are hurt. What's ironic about that: if it was easier, the same people would then be complaining it's too easy lol.

4 通の返信How did we get from the brilliance of the whisper mission to this? At least there was a mission I guess, not just a to do list.

8 通の返信The ultimate trolling was having empath (enhanced radar) and chaff (no radar) as the modifiers.

1 返信Yesterday, I did something I never do, and posted an lfg for the harbinger mission. 2 good dudes joined and we beat it. I'm a 1263 titan. If I can find a group, then I'm sure others can. But of course, the triumph didn't unlock for me(all 3 guardians have hawkmoon equipped) so here's hoping they fix it and I can get my first title.....

I solo’d it, but it was a b$&@h! During the first big fight, the “survive” just had too many Champion spawn-ins. Also, the number of snipers that teleported around was way too much. They could have toned that down a lot. I thought the boss fight was annoying at best, with far too many ads. There were so many ads that I thought the game was glitched. I decided to keep playing though, and thankfully it finally came to an end. There wasn’t really any joy in it for me other than the jumping portions of the mission. It’s pretty bad when I think “jumping” was the best part. I’m typically not a big fan of lots of jumping. Oh well, got it done

4 通の返信Hard? Meh, annoying with all the one shots from wire rifles and absurd amount of taken push cannons at the end
