Imagine having access to all raids that dropped relevant gear. All activities and missions in game dropped current light! That would be so much content to choose from. You could grind out anything. Imagine getting a weapon in different elements instead of a determined element. That alone would open up so much content !

Agreed. Tried to do the mission solo, wasn't that bad until that fight where you have to survive, kept getting killed in like 2 shots, even with a good build. Got frustrating, because all the people I normally play with have left. And I don't do LFG much because sometimes I just don't want to talk to people and I enjoy solo. I don't see why they don't scale it based on amount of players, it makes no sense.

I’m ambivalent about this one here. On one hand I love to solo stuff. on the other hand, playing with friends and accomplishing a common goal also boosts endorphins. The issue seems to be lfg. My question is why can’t Bungie implement in game matchmaking thereby providing solo players access to teammates and team based activities, even in endgame activities? Dungeons, Master NF Nighmares etc. Drawing the line at raids if comms are opt. Maybe I’m just dumb.

Bungie is ass backwards with the direction they're taking this. From forcing you to have specific weapons for champions. Forcing you to solo legendary lost sectors for exotics to this new hawkmoon catalyst is next to impossible solo. The bullshit stasis in pvp. They clearly do not care about the community that plays their game. I'm convinced they do 0 testing before hand on anything.

I don't play there way grinding useless power lvl repeating the same thing over n over sucks, what I did on d2 yesterday tryed the new hawkmoon quest instantly died as it's 1270 give up did a few gunsmith bounties n closed d2

The new content isn’t hard it’s just crap being overwhelmed with taken is so crap with no where to regenerate health or hide . Solo isn’t fun why these aren’t matchmaking I will never understand. I’ve used lfg but people leave you half way through or you never get a invite. Surely the difficulty should be based on numbers of players. I know there’s some really good players out there but nit all of us our at that level. If matchmaking was on I wouldn’t mind the difficulty at least then I can at least enjoy it not be so annoyed all I want is it over that’s not good content. Set a difficulty level so if people want to do this at harder levels I’m fine but sometimes I just want to play and enjoy it this isn’t fun . I’m sure people will hate on this but this forum is bad anyway so I don’t care what others want this is my opinion

Totally agree. I tried the boss solo yesterday, got slapped around a few times and just turned it off. Now I have to worry about finding a couple of people willing to run it with me today instead of easily finishing it yesterday when I was there.

I found it really weird that they made it super easy to get Hawkmoon, but to fully unlock its potential you have to do a super hard mission. Wouldn't it make more sense to reverse the situation?

For the record I have done it solo (under 15mins)my point being I shouldn’t have to find my own fireteam for a quest mission just to farm some random rolls. Yes I could solo it every time but if you say it’s easy to solo.. your lying to yourself. It’s a quest not a raid nor dungeon. Matchmaking should be optional on all activities outside those were communication is a necessity such as grandmaster nightfalls trials and raids. Im not looking for handout or for someone to “carry” me. I just don’t want to be forced to be social when I’m playing to escape. I paid the same amount of money as you. Oh and some bring up it’s a “MMO”but don’t they typically have built in matchmaking correct? I’m not a dev nor do I claim to know how all this works. Just some frustrating points since Bungie drove my friends away from the game and I’m still here but until cross play comes no one I know still plays destiny so I play solo.

honestly dude i was just thinking this km a 1270 titan and i wanted to do the new hawkmoon quest that came out and got to the final part by myself and got kicked out for internet connection literally im the only one online at home and i spent like 2 hours getting where i was

In reference to the hawkmoon quest for the catalyst.... Just for fun I did try this solo. For informational purposes I'm 1280, 1260 base. I got pretty far in on a "for fun" run but I have a few issues with this. Why are ads, basic ones at that, beefier than low level ads in the raid? I don't remember the ads for outbreak or whisper being this hard. How do you expect a vast majority of players to complete the round room or the boss room if you keep resetting it upon death? That really wasn't necessary. It's not a dungeon, it's a quest. I have finished it several times with a fire team and have 2- manned it, but it's a bit too high on the power level in my opinion. Raid ads look easy compared to these, not very balanced.

Wel said, I can’t get thru the new lost sectors and I’m not ashamed to admit it because it’s too hard for the intermediate player, so I now feel like I’m being excluded from activities I want to enjoy....

Every way to play is defined by bungie. There has never been "your" way to play, you use what bungie gives you.
