If a weapon gets reissued the old version should get sunrise

4 通の返信If they did that there would be no point in reissuing. It’s meant to make old content relevant again ,you wouldn’t run the content if the weapons you already have was updated.

2 通の返信Would it help you understand if they just renamed the reissued weapons with new perks? Just think of them as new weapons (they practically are but with same aesthetics on a character screen). Same as getting any other gun in same archetype. Deal with it.

11 通の返信Unpopular opinion: They should have just kept churning out pinnacles. Balance will always be an issue; so why not go all-in and just make stuff crazy powerful and nuts?! Is it really us who should be punished for power creep when stronger enemies are coming? To that end, why not design new enemies? We’ve had the same bulletsponge-with-stomp FOR SEVEN YEARS. Maybe you were on the right path with crazy innovating weapons from Black Armory, you just need to make crazy innovating bosses to use them on!

8 通の返信I disagree. If the old is renewed they are unlikely to change the perk pools. At least now even if I didn't care for the old version there's at least a chance I'll want the new. If nothing changes then neither will what is desired.

8 通の返信What they should have done was lengthen the time between reissues so we may see the gun again 8 months from now or a year from now. we need time to miss the guns and then get them back with more unique rolls.

Pinnacles would stay dead and we'd still have to wait for reissues in order to bring a specific weapon or armor piece forward.

What reason is there to pursue the reissued loot, or any loot for that matter, if you can just use the loot you already had? Perhaps you didn't grasp the concept of sunsetting in the first place.

16 通の返信Ok, here is the problem with that from bungies POV. If they reissue a gun and at the same time increase the infusion cap on players old versions, they then have all the people who deleted their old versions in an outrage because bungie said that it would never happen so it’s safe to delete sunset gear. All those people who deleted said guns would be furious and it would just cause the issue to splinter off into more pockets of the community. The only way bungie will do it is to reissue weapons with new perks. What bungie need to do though is make sure that new new weapons outnumber the reissues. So with season 13 we get 8 weapons from dc and moon in total, so they need to make more than 8 new weapons from different archetypes. Otherwise they really are just being lazy and milking the season money.

Here's the thing, Bungies answer is to offer you the chance to not get kicked in the nuts, by offering you a kick in the nuts. Sun setting doesn't solve problems it just offers the same problems with the same solution, that ultimately isn't a solution.

Yeah, but I’m sure a lot of people (like me) deleted a fair amount of their older guns because they were essentially useless in most activities and they just took up vault space.. So if BUNGIE decides “hey, let’s go ahead and sunrise your old guns” it’s not fair to the ppl who deleted their god rolled guns based on the assurance that they would be power capped at a lower level for good.

I was going to get Revoker, but the new season started and all kinda things happened. I have this idea that maybe Bungie will give MT back but with different roles and stats and not the greatest GL in the game. p.s. I think my comment is off the topic a little bit :D
