I won’t disagree except anomaly doesn’t lock a team into the same spawn for the entire match. Like at least it flips spawns when the other team pushes. Dead Cliffs keeps you stuck in the same corner with 2 doors for exits. It’s a death trap.

No, it’s hard to flip. 9 times out of 10, even if you push you’re way out of spawn and try to cap C or B, if you die you just end up back in the kill box. It’s not a matter of teammates not capping zones or leaving spawn when you’re literally trapped in a room. And let’s not pretend like players are all in game chat making call outs. Dead Cliffs is maybe easier to flip if you’re stacking with 3+ friends in your fire team, but even then it’s ridiculous that you have to make trials level call outs just to flip a spawn. If you’re the team that gets stuck in A, you’re likely going to take an L. That’s just how that map works.

And its pretty common to flip spawns on dead cliffs. And i am not anhigh skilled player. Hell my skill isnt high enough to ralk to saint 14 let alone play trials lol. The issue isnt the map its the people you are being matched with and how they play. And how you play.

I wholeheartedly disagree. You can flip the spawn easily without comms. You just need teamates who aren’t stupid enough to sit in back A spawn all game locking the spawn down. If you get derpy teamates then yea it’s a GG just like Meltdown (my god that map was ass) Don’t go to B when trying to break out of A. Go straight to back C and focus on forcing the spawn rather than capturing the zone. The enemy team will usually spawn B until your teamates clear out of A (which is why I said as long as your teamates aren’t living in back A it’s not so hard to flip)

It’s literally not that simple but thanks for the advice. Players generally aren’t feeling around behind A, they’re getting spawn killed. If you’ve played Dead Cliffs, you’ve likely spawned behind A and immediately got killed by a super, just to respawn in the same exact spot and get team fired by the 3 guys standing in the door waiting for you. Telling me you’ve never spawned back there and immediately got sniped? You can’t get on here and call players derpy and say it’s as simple as leaving spawn. That room is a trap. Enemies can literally be running around in there with shotguns spawn killing for 2 minutes straight. I’ll clarify and say I play on console, maybe it’s different on PC. It’s definitely not as easy as you’re making it out to be. Even if you finally do get to flip spawn, your team is probably down 50+ points with a mercy on the way.

Must be nice. A God amongst peasants. That map results in a mercy about 90% of the time I play it. Win or lose, it’s usually a mercy. It wasn’t made for 12 players, so it doesn’t play well. Let’s agree to disagree.

Exodus Blue might be the actual worst map in D2 lol spawning with enemies is always fun. Fragmented is, in my opinion, one of the best 6s map. Midtown is pretty good too. I liked Citadel, don’t know why they removed it. Radiant Cliffs and Wormhaven aren’t bad either. All those maps are bigger and more open so putting 12 players in there doesn’t seem so congested. And it’s not just the smaller map’s being bad, a lot of it is the spawning. It’s too predictable.

Wormhaven feels like it flips spawns too often, like Convergence. Either you’re constantly spawning on the opposite side or you’re spending half the match running back and forth from one side to the other. Widow’s Court is good, and they removed it from the game but I thought Meltdown was pretty decent too. The problem with Year 1 D2 maps is they were made for 4v4, and D1 maps were made for a slower paced PvP environment...so they just don’t play well in this game. But we can’t expect Bungie to make new maps, that’d be ludicrous.
