Yesterday, I received the nightingale error on Destiny 2. I restarted the game, verified game integrity, restarted steam, and cleared all download cache. None of that worked, therefore, I re-installed Destiny 2 and sure enough, it resolved the issue. However, today I receive the same error and I really do not want to have to re-install Destiny 2 EVERY TIME I would like to play it.
Does anyone know a fix to this?
Hello. You may need to switch to different DNS settings on your router. Here is a guide to do so.
You can also do an IP refresh by putting these commands into your PC:
1. Press Windows Key + S
2. Type “cmd” without quotations and press enter.
3. 3.Type “ipconfig /release” without quotations and press Enter.
4. Type “ipconfig /renew” without quotations and press Enter.
5. Type “ipconfig /flushdns” without quotations and press Enter.
6. Type “exit” without quotation marks and press Enter.
If the steps above do not solve the issue, you will need to contact your ISP. You may need a public IP refresh or reset.
