But you, collectively, aren't going to get there. Sorry, but you aren't. I am sure there are a lot of software developers, myself included, out there that would be happy to consult with your team, gain a full understanding of WHY you keep missing the mark, and offer up some suggestions as to how to address these issues.
It is literally the summary of my post. With the problem being stated as the first sentence.
YOU NEED TO HIRE SOMEONE TO FIX LOOT AND PROGRESSION.
Again, you are ignoring the context of what is posted. As well as previous conversations with YOU where I have given detailed suggestions as to possible solutions.

Again, the original post was not the venue for my personal recommendations. That said, I did give an example of where to start:
You suck at making what is arguably great content, rewarding and engaging.
All things need purpose. That is the core of any type of progression/reward system. Be it a job, a hobby, or in a video game. Do X get Y. Destiny can be summed up as: Do X get (nothing or Y, or maybe Z, or maybe Y and T). With ever changing criteria. That lessens the ability for the user/player to remain engaged. Or it creates grind without purpose. Or worse yet, grind with a reward that is perceived as "not being worth it". "Worth it" is subjective. Which is why clear delineation of what "it" is, as well as what we will accomplish is key. Bungie sucks at this.

Veldrinにより編集済み: 1/7/2021 1:13:33 PMIf nobody points the finger on a problem, Bungie can't fix them or can't hire (or reassign) people to fix them. For example the lack of loot. We put our finger on the issue, Bungie finally realised one aspect of it and reacted with reassigning or hiring new personal for weapon loot creation. Critics are needed. You could argue the phrasing is too harsh or whatever, but critic itself is integral part of a healthy community and game. If a community stops to be criticial, they stopped playing/loving the game. I have another example what critic positively achieved. Bungie put the daito armor into the prophecy dungeon. Originally they planned to put them into the eververse store. That is one small victory of the critical part of the community FOR the whole community. Even for you, who seems to prefer to never raise a critical voice to not hurt bungie's feelings.
