They will say all day they don’t but the only way to prevent them is some form of SBMM. Which the community will scream all day long and louder that they don’t want. So choose, some form of SBMM or constant mercy wins. My bet is the community would rather have mercy. To them 5-6 mercies in a row resulting in 30-40 min of misery is better than constantly waiting on games. Some lag (which is already bad) and most importantly having games be close. This community doesn’t want mercy wins. But they also don’t want a game to be close. When they win they wanna win by about 30 points. Makes them feel good about themselves without feeling like the enemy team never stood a chance.

A million mercies are not enough for Lord Saladin.

Isn't the mercy rule still bugged? As soon as the difference in points hits like 40, shaxx or saladbar call the match

There should be no mercy,and the match should go to 250,but increase the tokens to 25 for a win and 10 for a loss

I am assuming they thought freelance would reduce the mercies ,but it didn’t The only thing that will do that is SBMM

Even getting mercied repeatedly I would much rather stay in regular IB, Freelance takes too long to load and people tend to be pretty horrible there, and mercy matches end in about a minute or less so its like Gambit Prime but less painful.

Why is it not right you lost five in a row? Cause it just highlights you aren’t as good as you thought?

I don’t think the matchmaking even tries to balance teams any more. It just randomly distributes the 12 players between the 2 teams and that’s it. I decided to play this time round. I’ve been avoiding PvP but finally got Adored (yeah, I somehow managed to choose the Gambit path 😱 ) and would like the ornament for sniper kills if I can bear it after last nights games.

So....this is how you know a game is dead. When you mercy the same guys 5 matches in a row. But since either nobody is playing or the dumbass cross platform shit they got going on..... There is about 30 people in the player pool it seems. Not only that, but 10-15 min of queue for a 2-3 min game is just........ [b]BORING[/b]

Has anyone else noticed that the lobby balancing is horrible. I'm curious to other higher tier players win rate, (if you aren't in a large group). My seasonal kda is 2.6 but my win rate is 22%. The quality of the team mates that get placed on my team compared to the other is just flat out terrible. Each game there are always 4 people who are negative. I know it is just qp but it is not a good experience for anyone in the lobby they get destroyed and have a terrible time and it doesn't matter how much effort the top player puts in because it can't possibly be enough to carry in control. Curious to see how others experience is, if it is similar or not.

The mechanics encourage bad matchmaking but that’s constant in all pvp in this game including gambit. Ib is not special like that My only gripe in Ib/control in general is that the mercy rule is not called fast enough when it’s needed
