“Content creators “ are just one player... I don’t understand why they think they are so important, if they quit it’s just one less player... they have been mostly bad for this game anyway...

Let all the streamers quit🤷🏼‍♂️ Pvp players will never be happy with any change to pvp because people are not mentally equipped to play online games. Everybody wants to win and when they don’t they cry and whine that things are op or broken. Because that is so much easier to do than switch up your play style Honestly there are three things that would dramatically improve pvp 1. Remove Luke Smith 2. Have all streamers quit 3. Strip pvp down to bare bones. Everybody gets the same armor(and stats) and guns. No supers or abilities. Just simple gun play where the skill of the player determines wins

these guys just want the game catered to their liking, that’s why summit1g stopped playing because the loudest voices in this community advocate for the worst meta

Whether or not you agree on his points about PvP, there is no denying that it feels absolutely hopeless giving feedback to Bungie. The communication is lacking big time.

The game can’t serve two masters. 1. It’s a PvE game. 2. PvE is the financial engine of the game. 3. Pve players are the vast majority of the player base and the most loyal and STABLE part of the player base. 4. Vanilla D2 showed that trying to cater to pvp players is dangerous to the health of the game. Especially on the pve side. 5. [b]I hate to be blunt, but pvp simply isn’t the focus of this game anymore.[/b]. In fact I believe Bungie’s goal is to slowly starve it of support while buying time to transform it into a pvp that isn’t interfering with what they want to do with pve, and build up the pve playerbase to replace the pvp players who leave. Everything Bungie has done the last 2 years point to this as their mid-term strategy.

I guess if I relied on video games to pay my bills, I'd feel the same way too. Good thing I have a stable source of income.

Streamers don't represent the whole community. Most of them are hardcore pvp players and are pissed that stasis has screwed up their meta. It boils down to that they get paid to make content and when their content is lacking and their revenue starts to go down they sh!t on the game. My clan and I are having a blast playing BL. Many that I know who quit the game have come back. Crucible has always been a sh!t show so adding stasis has changed nothing imo.

Shatter dive is making people quit pvp Lol gtfoh. He mentioned the actual problems with the entirety of the game..it's lazy reskins, lack of content etc. There's a million problems before I think of shatterdive being one of them. The game caters to a select few groups at the expense of everybody else. The hardcore pve or pvp people, that's it. Nobody else matters to Bungie

Nope, the 'git gud' boys can git lost for all I care. I'm not on your side and don't try to pull me onto it now that all the sudden Bungie has stopped pushing PvP. Go try your luck against other people who enjoy sweaty PvP instead of PvE schlubs like me who just want to get the quest done and get out for a change.

Valid points or not .. i'm sick of content creators trying to speak for the community.. they don't and often times this game has turned into a mess bc of content creators just as much as it has with bad design or implementation on bungies end. People listen to these guys as sheeple.. they might not even feel one way or another, but man if their favorite streamer has an opinion you best believe they make it their own.. I will say, this video is mostly accurate though. Also, I just have to say this who the hell actually cares if some dude who creates destiny content quits.. Jeez.. since when did these guys become important.. news flash - they aren't.

After watching his video, and my own player experience in pvp. Shatter drive does need to be toned down. It should at least have a cool down timer like everything else to keep players from spamming their abilities. I to have died from shatter driver at full health and no where near the enemy to many times. It kills you through walls and around corners.. that's stupid.

Going back to D1 It's just... better. I made a new character today and started on the original journey. It was really nice to feel like I was actually making progress towards something truly bigger and better rather than mindlessly grinding weekly challenges so that I might, maybe, possibly have a slight chance at getting a piece of gear 1 light level higher than what I have. Joining a faction to represent brought back great memories too, it's actually one of my favorite things about D1. I love being able to work towards faction gear whenever I feel like it, it takes all the pain out of the grind knowing I'll actually get something cool and different. In fact being able to completely start from scratch and level up my character and their light level from nothing was a big part of what drew me back to D1, can't even do that in D2. My buddy just started playing D2 for the first time the other day and he was like this is dumb... why can't I start from the beginning none of this makes sense, why am I so strong already. Then I was like ah yes the beginning come my friend and I'll show you a real game, he started a D1 character also and immediately fell in love. D2 has lost it's spark Bungie and it greatly pains me to say that because you given me so many hours of fun until now... I mean I had to try and explain the first 3 main storylines to someone who had no idea about Destiny and then I had to try and explain why the whole first half of the game was just gone and not playable. He was like it makes no sense and I thought to myself you're right friend it absolutely makes no sense, so I say again go back and play D1 and you too will see it's just a better game. Destiny 1 for life, FwC for life, and Cayde mutha f@*#in 6 FOR LIFE!
