Everyone.
I think it may be time to move on from this game.
Clearly Bungie has a direction they are going in that is opposite where we want to go.
Sun setting is casting such a dark shadow over EVERYTHING going forward (pun intended). And I don't think exotics or supers are safe from sun setting (you can read between the lines).
This season, SO MUCH was taken away in both PvP and PvE and we all know that this content will be sold back to us in the future.
We got such a small handful of loot with this season Bungie had to add back in Seraph weapons. And the loot we got has perks that are very weak or underwhelming.
And Bungie is promising things will be better in coming seasons but we know it will just get worse. Just go read anything Luke Smith is saying and you will be depressed.
Eververse is a constant problem.
Chasing an arbitrary number that just gets reset to a higher number each season and then chasing that number doing the same activities we have already done hundreds of times. That is NOT FUN.
I know you are feeling it too.

It didnt take them long to look up your playtime and proceed to criticize "why you played as much as you did, if things are as bad as you claim." Whereas, if you didn't play as much as you do, they would move the goalpost to the other side screaming.... "WHAT or HOW DO YOU EVEN KNOW, YOU HAVENT PLAYED ENOUGH OF IT TO FORM AN OPINION !!!! " To get a good laugh, look up the first "Earth Defense Force " gameplay on YouTube. When you save a group of 5 agents they start chanting, " EDF..EDF..EDF..EDF..EDF " It totally reminds me of the white knights swarming a topic here. When there is a post that criticizes or disapproves decisions that Bungie makes in Destiny...here they come and coincidencely it's always the same 5-6 people. "BDF..BDF..BDF..BDF..BDF !"

The game is alright until you hit hard cap then it gets kinda boring. After years of the same cycle I just lose all interest in grinding weekly activities for higher light level. Normally I'd play pvp after hitting hard cap but pvp is pretty shit these days and there is better pvp games to play. If it wasnt for my friend still needing to complete his season pass we wouldnt even be playing again until next season.

1 返信I know I’m playing less. I gave BL a chance cause darkness powers but even that kinda felt like a big nothing burger. Also the direction sucks and Luke even spitballing about nerfing supers, especially roaming striker supers, is the closer for me. That will kill pve hands down. Cause if it makes it easier on them, which it does, then they’ll do it. Anything to make their job easier and make a buck. IMO gaming in general is down sliding due to devs and publishers getting lazy. Destiny and Cyberpunk is a great example of them fleecing and stabbing us in the back.

Farewell, comrade. I have seen many leave before you, & many will after. Even as a top 1% player, I can’t blame you. The game has devolved into a hamster wheel & Bungie has absolutely no plans to improve it. Be well.

I left after year 1. Came back at year 3, caught up on all the stuff. Then bungie sunset virtually everything I enjoyed doing. I've pretty much stopped playing the game. Did some stuff for the event only to find the loot completely worthless. Now I have literally no reason to log on any more.

1 返信the main problem with moving on, there are 0 games under the same catagory of destiny that are better which is truely unfortunate

6 通の返信You make some great points and I agree that we need to remove eververse but The Dust Palace is lost to us again. Back in Cabal hands. Word is they've let Psion Flayers out of their cages, to dig around in the Central AI's cortex. Which means, they really want what's buried in there. If Rasputin was protecting it, it's valuable. We've got to flush those Flayers out.
Clearly Bungie has a direction they are going in that is opposite where we want to go.
You're officially that guy.
Hell, my love for this game has diminished greatly since the start of Destiny 2. It failed to capture the magic I felt with the first game and I've seen many of my clanmates just disappear during this time. It sucks but there are people who still enjoy the game or just started playing so this is the only version of Destiny they know. You really shouldn't act like this is how everyone feels about the state of the game.
Same here, sat in top 1000 of players for multiple game modes in Destiny 1, Destiny 2 had issues from the start and they’re only fixing it by adding in more problems, Bungie just doesnt deserve to be functioning as a company, they’re simply focused on profit and profit only, the fact that taking breaks only sees you getting expired content when you hop back on is proof of that.

7 通の返信s h a k eにより編集済み: 12/31/2020 7:44:37 AMHonestly, not playing this game anymore is a very valid suggestion. Idk how that can be argued otherwise. This game deserves to die. Its not even the fact that they can't salvage it, its that they wont try. On god tho monster hunter ice borne is really what some mf dlc looks like 😔😔 I wish people had higher standards so the overall quality of games was higher I don't understand how some people can be so complacent and satisfied with less than a bare minimum
