Maybe I should have been more specific. The primaries, as in what should be our main weapons, are the most balanced they have been. Stasis not even close. But you can be a -blam!- face all you want. I’m used to these toxic forums

HCs out shoot pulse rifles at the same range on console. 120rpm HC has more flinch than any other kinetic primary and it's not even close. Might as well b*tch slap the person holding the controller. TLW has the fastest ttk of any gun in the game and it's range is insane. Auto rifles are trash again. Felwinters kills you at fusion rifle range. Hunter stasis can freeze you around corners while warlock melee requires you to be in felwinters range to even kind of work. Nah, Y1 was about as balanced as everything ever was. Scouts worked, autos worked, pulse worked, fusion and shotgun had their place, and good players could pull off smg and sidearm...and the only archetype that sucked was HCs. Now HCs are amazing and everything else is functionally worthless. Do a few rounds of trials. Bet it's gonna be HC and Felwinters for the sweat teams. HCs honestly ruin the meta. If they're nerfed 10% of the community whines loudly and someone needs to tell those people to shut the hell up.

Year 1 wasn’t balanced. Mida/Uriels/Antiope every game. Destiny can’t be balanced. Stasis is fun but an absolute shit show. 140 Hand Cannons and shotguns like CQC are in a really good place. Not once have I felt like my CQC can win me games by itself. It’s range, I have a max range one, doesn’t map kids. But 120s are pretty dumb right now. Felwinters is stupid. I want it out of the game lol.

True I guess. But that was when it was 4v4 and no guns could have random rolls. Bungie needs to make more game modes. AND the competitive game mode needs to straight have bans on OP things. Looking at you Felwinters, Bastion, Jotuun etc. Put some damn skill back into the game

That's my big beef with pvp. The ttk is so fast now that everything is whack a mole. If it's not a one shot kill, it's a 2 shot, 3 shots max. Anything that needs more than 3 bullets is "not in the meta" and unusable. I'd also be down for more game types, except people in this game have a massive hard on for KD so half the time it'll just be stacks farming kills instead of playing objectives so they can go to the reddit or here and boast about it.

The weapon balance is way worse this update. HCs need nerfed big time. Last season there were 3-4 different primaries in the top 10: HCs, ARs, SAs, and PRs. Now it's nothing but HCs. And I don't use HCs because they're fun I use them because I have to in order to win because they're a crutch. I find them dull and I can't stand the way they look.

So many weapons have a faster ttk than HCs. Guns like Suros/600 autos still have faster ttks than all HCs not named TLW. Imagine calling a Primary a crutch Bot mentality

You actually have to aim less with a HC due to much higher bullet magnetism. Also ARs had around 15% more kills than HCs in Trials last season. This season HCs have 300% more kills than the second most used primary which is a PR.
