Bungie gave hand cannons their range back but left pulses out of the buff. This really affects non high impact pulses. Pulses are supposed to be ranged weapons but there are 120s outranging most of the pulses in the game with their 47m+ that they can reach. Look at hailing confusion. It's max range roll is still less than a 120 hand cannon. Even 140s depending on their rolls can out range or leave very very little breathing room for them to exist. It just doesn't feel fair. It feels like they neglected non high impact pulses. HCs only require 3 shots to kill (making it easier to strafe shoot), can peek shoot better than any other gun archetype, and have crazy in air accuracy that allows more plays and ways to chase running away enemies. Pulses require you to be more grounded and don't have the advantageous innate benefits that hand cannons do yet are out ranged by them? I hope next season gives a range buff to non high impact pulses.

7 通の返信ease of use and ttk trade off giving pulses more range while keeping their ease of use and ttk would be as disastrous if not more than last season AR meta

Then we've got 36+ meter range handcannons and everything else goes at or above 30 meters. 140s have a .87 ttk for a 32-36 meter range and 600s have a .80 for a 25-26 meter average range. That ttk difference and range disparity is ridiculously in handcannons favor. Pulses absolutely should get some tuning, but I think it's mostly just handcannons that need to be toned down.

JazzyPaladin477により編集済み: 12/29/2020 2:52:52 PMYup, pulse rifle and hand cannon range got nerfed at the same time to make autos relevant. Now that autos are no longer relevant due to the hand cannon range buff, might as well buff pulses again too.
