There are a lot of movies I've seen over the years where I thought, "That is easily in my top 5." But so many have come and gone I find it so hard to settle on just one. That being said, I find I always default to the LOTR trilogy. Not sure a movie has captivated my interest when I was younger - and even now - more than that film for it's adapation, story, character development, effects, etc.

2 通の返信Treasure Planet. It’s treasure island, in space, with actually good characters (plus crazy robot which amuses me regardless of how terrible he is).

1 返信NinjaW/ramenにより編集済み: 12/27/2020 7:27:39 AMIt varies from moment to moment. As of right now, it's The Personal History of David Copperfield (2019). Before that, it was The Little Prince. And Pirates of the Caribbean has an amazing host of original scores, dialogue exchanges, and action sequences. Plus, when I watched it as a kid, it helped me overcome my absolute dread of skeletons. Odd that a movie like that would help me... I just re-watched it recently and... It was more intense than I remembered, lol. I don't even know... EDIT: Lord Dublin already said it, but Treasure Planet is an underappreciated Disney movie.

7 通の返信Ghost Riderにより編集済み: 12/26/2020 6:48:31 PMThe only correct answer to this question is Star Wars (AKA Episode IV: A New Hope). The best scene is either the ceremony at the very end (which I suggest because the score is incredible) or the opening chase (because seeing the Imperial Star Destroyer lumber into view for the first time is absolutely timeless).
Sorry, all out of salt.
9 通の返信Either Frozen 2, or the Steven Universe Movie. My favorite scene in the former;
Is definitely Elsa’s fight with the water horse thing, though The Next Right Thing is a close runner up.
In the latter;
*a sort of memory wiper that used to belomg to Spinel falls out of Steven’s pocket* Spinel: “...Why do you have that...?” Steven: “I-I was just holding it; I didn’t have anywhere else to put it!” Spinel: “...So, we can all just forget this ever happened, huh? You mean I can just forget this ever happened! I turn off my injector, the BAM! PRESTO! CHANGO! PROBLEM SOLVED!Heheheh, wooooooow WHAT A PLAN! You won’t get one over on me that easy!”
3 通の返信Those of you with young eyes, look away...
Orgazmo
Just a fun dumb movie, by the guys from South Park. One of the guys at work just watched it, then we all spent a half hour talking about it as well as quoting lines from it. There are other favorites, but this was the hot topic of the week.
