I haven’t personally tested, but someone mentioned that the basic finisher will count as a kill from elemental damage of whatever subclass you have equipped.

I found they not only those, but any finishers without any color in the icons (other than white) will work. So ones like Clock Cleaner, Gladiator's Blade Rush, Overhead Heel Crush, and Savage Haymaker, will count as a Stasis kill.
